The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCurnin clinches up with Gordon and pushes him back against the cage. Gordon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
McCurnin tightens his grip and picks Gordon up, before dumping him to the ground. Gordon manages to land in guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Gordon is pulling down on McCurnin's head to control his posture. Gordon is looking to stand up but McCurnin isn't so interested in that idea. Gordon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. McCurnin stands up and waves to Gordon to follow him. McCurnin has managed to clinch.
McCurnin breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Gordon misses the target. A jab from Gordon misses. Gordon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. McCurnin drives through with a takedown into Gordon's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. McCurnin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. McCurnin decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gordon, up you get! McCurnin checks a low kick from Gordon. McCurnin moves into the clinch successfully.
Gordon tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. McCurnin breaks the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Oooooh!!! McCurnin has knocked Gordon down with a huge combo! McCurnin steps away and waves a wobbly Gordon back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gordon gets tackled into the cage by McCurnin. McCurnin maintains the clinch. Oh Gordon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! McCurnin manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. McCurnin looking for a sweep. Not yet McCurnin, not yet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now McCurnin is on top in guard.

McCurnin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. McCurnin stands up from guard. Let's bang! McCurnin fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Gordon to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Gordon looks to clinch but McCurnin throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Gordon taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mamed misses with a takedown attempt - Dimagiba sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mamed just misses with a punch to the body.
Dimagiba gets a double leg takedown into Mamed's guard. Mamed is trying to control the position but Dimagiba postures up. Mamed looking for a guillotine here but Dimagiba defends easily.
Dimagiba won't allow Mamed to sweep him here. Mamed working a defensive guard here.
Dimagiba throws an elbow that misses. Mamed uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dimagiba's guard. Nice move by Mamed! Dimagiba throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dimagiba is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mamed trying to control but Dimagiba is working from the bottom. Mamed stands and steps away. Dimagiba gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dimagiba throws a sloppy head kick and Mamed counters with a two punch combo. Mamed closes the distance and lands a one-two. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mamed looks for the body kick but Dimagiba saw that one coming. Mamed has been working on his balance at ACME! Thai Boxing Academy 13 ELITE COACHES & SAUNA, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Dimagiba. Dimagiba tries to clinch there but Mamed circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mamed clinches. Mamed is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Mamed tries to work over Dimagiba's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Mamed tries to pull guard but Dimagiba forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ahmed Babilon Mamed. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mamed wants a takedown.
Mamed is looking to control Dimagiba's arms but Dimagiba gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mamed has his back to the cage. Dimagiba jumps into guard, dragging Mamed to the mat.
Mamed is looking to work some ground and pound but Dimagiba has wrist control. Mamed wants to control from the top but Dimagiba keeps moving. Mamed's corner is telling him to maintain position. Dimagiba is trying to keep Mamed in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dimagiba keeping full guard, as Mamed tries to pass. Mamed won't allow Dimagiba to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ahmed Babilon Mamed just wasn't active enough. Mamed circles away from the clinch attempt and Mamed makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Dimagiba really felt that one! Mamed circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mamed misses with a takedown and Dimagiba counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dimagiba creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mamed sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Dimagiba is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mamed has escaped the position, nice work there. Dimagiba goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mamed has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dimagiba but great work by Mamed. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ahmed Babilon Mamed will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mamed bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sloppy strikes there by Mamed. Mamed tries for a kimura but Dimagiba is defending well. Dimagiba trying to remain calm as Mamed controls from the top position. Dimagiba tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mamed controlling from side mount. Dimagiba is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mamed off and has taken his back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Dimagiba looking for the choke from the back. Dimagiba lands an elbow to the side of the head. Dimagiba is not going to allow Mamed to sit and survive in this position. Dimagiba controlling well, preventing Mamed from escaping the position.
Dimagiba is working for a rear naked choke. Mamed is not defending it well and Dimagiba has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Mamed refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Mamed's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rauparaha.
Filgueiras doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rauparaha counters with a low kick, right behind Filgueiras 's knee. Rauparaha throws a quick inside leg kick. Filgueiras shoots in for a takedown but Rauparaha shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Filgueiras. It looks like Luana Peroba Filgueiras has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taisumov defending well as Tuckich loads up on a big left hand. We've been told by Taisumov's head coaches at Iron Fist Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Tuckich pushes Taisumov up against the cage in a clinch. Taisumov is trying to break free. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Tuckich is trying to pull guard but Taisumov has him pressed against the cage. Taisumov is trying to push Tuckich away but Tuckich has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Tuckich fails to pull the fight into his guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matumba tried to score with a low kick but Kolpakov checks it. Matumba moves out of range of the strikes. Matumba on the wrong end of a nice hook. Kolpakov drops his hands for a split second and Matumba immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Kolpakov face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Matumba follows up with a right hand that knocks Kolpakov into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
