Battle's jab looks to have found its range, popping Maskrey under the eye.
Nice sprawl there from Battle as Maskrey shoots in.
Maskrey doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Battle scores with a nice strike.
Maskrey takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Maskrey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Battle quickly recovers to half guard.

After the fight, Le Muria was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
The defeated Pops Mcgee had this to say: 'Well I'm very sorry I lost as an older man my body is not what it used to be im going back to the drawing board to rethink my game plan and I'll be back to bang it out with whoever the matchmakers put me against'.
