Ioannidis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is If I Can't - 50 Cent. 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Huddlestone! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ioannidis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ioannidis takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Huddlestone defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ioannidis. Ioannidis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Huddlestone's head. Ioannidis moves in looking to clinch but Huddlestone pushes him off. A jab lands there for Huddlestone. Huddlestone shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ioannidis eats them both and turns towards Huddlestone to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Aristos Ioannidis has been cut. Ioannidis tries to clinch up but Huddlestone circles away and keeps his distance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ioannidis avoids a punch combination nicely.
Huddlestone lands a leg kick that knocks Ioannidis off balance momentarily. Huddlestone lands a nice looking body kick. Ioannidis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Huddlestone manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Huddlestone has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Ioannidis closes the distance but Huddlestone moves to the side and Huddlestone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ioannidis. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Ioannidis misses with a takedown attempt - Huddlestone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ioannidis tries to clinch but fails miserably and Huddlestone counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ioannidis's knee momentarily. Huddlestone swats away the attempt to clinch by Ioannidis. Ioannidis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Huddlestone connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ioannidis scrambles back to his feet.

Huddlestone darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. A solid body kick from Huddlestone. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ioannidis. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Huddlestone checks a low kick from Ioannidis. Ioannidis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Huddlestone avoids it really well and circles away. Huddlestone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ioannidis tries to clinch up. Huddlestone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Huddlestone connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ioannidis momentarily.
Huddlestone feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ioannidis's calf. Ioannidis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ioannidis misses with a jab, cross combination.

Danga de danga de dang - Ioannidis scores with a four punch combination! This has been an exciting period of action! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Huddlestone!

and Ioannidis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ioannidis. Our sources have told us that Ioannidis has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Huddlestone is trying to force a seperation but Ioannidis has the dominant position. Ioannidis goes for a takedown attempt but Huddlestone pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A jab from Huddlestone does it's job there. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ioannidis has his takedown stuffed and Huddlestone counters with a three punch combo that has Ioannidis backing up. Ioannidis nods at Huddlestone to acknowledge the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ioannidis is rocked! Ioannidis gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Huddlestone gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Ioannidis is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raziq drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Raziq wants to stand but Coy is controlling his arm. Coy tries to escape but Raziq is in control. Coy bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
That's one minute gone in the round. Coy shoots in for a double leg but Raziq sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Raziq feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Raziq must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Coy is looking to stand up but Raziq isn't so interested in that idea. Raziq wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Coy's closed guard. He's half up but Coy has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Coy pivots and extends the arm, Raziq falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Coy! Well done that man!

Carlos Coy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Nutzack Jnr saw that one coming. Officer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Sloppy strikes from Nutzack Jnr. Those never looked like landing. Nutzack Jnr showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Officer.

Officer is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Officer is still in real trouble! Can Nutzack Jnr finish him? Nutzack Jnr stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Officer gets caught flat footed, as Nutzack Jnr shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Nutzack Jnr loads up on a big left hand. Officer felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Nutzack Jnr looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Officer can't hide his disappointment, as Nutzack Jnr celebrates the victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Curtis throws a leg kick but Gunvaldsson moved away. Gunvaldsson tries to clinch up but Curtis circles away and keeps his distance. Curtis shoots for a takedown but Gunvaldsson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Gunvaldsson tries to clinch but Curtis is having none of it. Gunvaldsson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Gunvaldsson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Curtis! Curtis can't escape the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cook misses with a body shot.
Cook clinches. Cook lands with a left to the head. Mihattovic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mihattovic tries to clinch but Cook moves out of range. Cook stuffs the takedown attempt from Mihattovic. Mihattovic gets slowly back to his feet. Mihattovic bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Cook jabbing away but nothing is landing. Mihattovic darts in looking for a takedown but Cook gets double underhooks and turns Mihattovic into the cage. Mihattovic wants to break the clinch but can't.

Cook trying to control the position from guard on top but Mihattovic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Cook looking to improve position, pressing down on Mihattovic's thigh with his hand. Mihattovic seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Cook paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Cook's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Mihattovic picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grant throws a leg kick that misses. Zhu moves out of range as Grant throws a body kick.
Zhu defending well as Grant loads up on a big left hand. Manus Grant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grant pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Grant throws a nice outside leg kick. Grant moves out of range as Zhu strikes. Zhu thumps Grant with a low kick. Nice defenses there by Grant. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Zhu crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Grant - the referee stops the clock and Zhu gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Grant. Zhu manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Grant ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zhu moves away. Zhu throws a leg kick that misses. Grant circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Grant takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Zhu takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Chong Zhu has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Grant scores with a decent looking hook. Grant jabs Zhu to the body, keeping him at a distance. A nice leg kick lands there from Zhu. Grant lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Zhu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Grant takes a swing at Zhu's ribcage but misses. Grant scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Zhu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Grant swings for the body but Zhu moves out of range.

This has been an exciting period of action! Zhu lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

We've been informed that Wylde has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Cuenca throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Wylde tries to clinch but Cuenca is having none of it. Wylde throws a sloppy head kick and Cuenca cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Cuenca takes one on the button. Wylde tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Wylde walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cuenca checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. A head kick from Wylde lands but Cuenca takes it in his stride. We've been told by Cuenca's head coaches at School Of Fighting that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cuenca, as that shot connected.

That kick from Cuenca tenderised Wylde's leg. Wylde is trying to keep his angry face on. Wylde paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A telegraphed right hand from Wylde misses the target. A low kick from Wylde misses and Cuenca makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Wylde attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. This has been an exciting period of action! Wylde tries to clinch but Cuenca is having none of it. A chopping leg kick lands by Wylde.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wylde lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cuenca has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cuenca and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Cuenca is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Wylde throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cuenca sees it coming and avoids it easily. Wylde finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Wylde's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Wylde has taken the fight to the clinch.
