 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Modnar looking to score a takedown here. Sparring is defending well but Modnar drives through and ends up in Sparring's guard. Modnar stands and throws Sparring's legs to the side, diving into side control. Modnar content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Modnar is working Sparring over with some ground and pound from side control.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Ellenbogen. Davis misses with a takedown
and Ellenbogen counters by moving into the clinch. Davis is trying to pull guard but Ellenbogen turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Davis tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Seymour Ellenbogen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derwin Davis.

Davis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Davis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ellenbogen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Davis is not content to let Ellenbogen control the position.

 The ref stands the fighters back up. Seymour Ellenbogen wasn't doing enough on the ground. Davis avoids the body shot from Ellenbogen.
Seymour Ellenbogen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab, jab by Ellenbogen - just one landing. Davis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ellenbogen.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zorg throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Morgan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zorg as he jumps to the side. Zorg throws a hook but Morgan avoids it easily. Zorg connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Morgan momentarily.
 It looks like Justin Morgan has been cut. Zorg clobbers Morgan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Zorg fails with the takedown and Zorg takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A swing and a miss from Zorg. Morgan ducks right into an uppercut from Zorg.
Zorg scores with a takedown into Morgan's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Zorg missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Morgan misses with a wild combination.
Morgan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Morgan fails with a takedown attempt. Morgan leaves Zorg with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Zorg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan takes a body punch but keeps moving. Morgan throws a right hand that Zorg ducks under and follows up with a left that Zorg also avoids with ease. Nice uppercut there from Zorg. Morgan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Zorg dives in for a single leg takedown but Morgan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Zorg. Morgan prevents a takedown attempt there.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Zorg presses Morgan against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Morgan is trying to pull guard but Zorg has him pressed against the cage. Morgan prevents a body shot from Zorg. Zorg tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Zorg is fighting off a takedown attempt but Morgan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Zorg to the mat. Zorg regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Morgan trying to control but Zorg is working from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! Gabriel Zorg showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zorg, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Gabriel Zorg! Gabriel Zorg decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Santa does it's job there. Santa misses with a combination
and Dionys counters with a head kick. Santa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dionys avoids it really well and circles away. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Santa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Santa looks to land a combination but Dionys avoids it well. Santa throws a solid leg kick but Dionys takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Santa. Santa throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dionys throws a leg kick but Santa sees it coming and moves out of range. Dionys stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Santa. A punch combination from Santa misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thud! ouch! good body kick from Dionys - that will leave a mark!

Dionys and Santa are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Dionys throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Santa into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Dionys knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Stamatis goes for a double leg but Attilius avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Attilius continues to drive forward. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Attilius wants to get back to his feet but Stamatis is in a dominant position and won't allow it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Attilius trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Stamatis is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

That's going to take a lot out of Athan Stamatis. Stamatis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Stamatis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

He's obviously looking to slow Attilius down. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stamatis.
Stamatis scores with a head kick. Attilius tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Athan Stamatis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Stamatis closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Attilius did well to prevent Stamatis getting side control. Attilius pushes Stamatis off looking to stand but Stamatis dives back in and keeps control.
Stamatis content to control rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stamatis prevents Attilius from standing back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stamatis in particular looking to stall.

Stamatis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
 The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Athan Stamatis. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stamatis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Attilius swivels and escapes. Stamatis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Stamatis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Attilius. Attilius slips under a jab from Stamatis. A nice leg kick lands there from Stamatis. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stamatis throws a hook but Attilius avoids it easily. Stamatis misses with a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Athan Stamatis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stamatis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
