1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fifn Hogj! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Francis Tebow! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Hogj. Hogj misses with a wild combination.
Hogj shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tebow's guard. Tebow is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hogj is controlling him. Hogj stays in close to Tebow's body and controls the position. Hogj decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tebow, up you get! Hogj closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hogj looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Hogj wants to pass the guard but Tebow is defending well. Tebow is trying to stand back up but Hogj is controlling him
Hogj works his way into side control. Tebow prevents Hogj from moving into mount. Hogj wants to control but Tebow is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tebow is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hogj asserts his dominance and retains side control. Hogj has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Hogj throws a push kick but Tebow slaps the foot to one side. Hogj on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogj decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hogj wants to pass to mount but Tebow is defending the position. Hogj is trying to control the action in half guard but Tebow is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Hogj controlling the action here. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Tebow looks like he's trying to stand up.

Hogj throws a wild body kick that Tebow sees coming a mile off. Hogj fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tebow sprawls well initially but Hogj persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tebow is trying to stand up here but Hogj is controlling him well. Tebow is breathing heavily. Hogj sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Tebow defending well though. Hogj is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hogj stands up and beckons Tebow to join him on the feet. Hogj tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tebow paws at him with a jab and circles away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tebow has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hogj avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Tebow takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tebow working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Tebow is trying to force a seperation but Hogj has the dominant position. Hogj breaks from the clinch.
Tebow throws a hook to the side of Hogj's head but Hogj sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hogj throws a sloppy head kick and Tebow moves out of range easily. Tebow swats away the attempt to clinch by Hogj.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tebow looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fifn Hogj has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Francis Tebow. Hogj moves into the clinch successfully.
Hogj jumps into guard, dragging Tebow to the mat.
Hogj is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Hogj is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hogj is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tebow won't allow Hogj to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogj bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tebow's guard. Hogj throws an elbow that misses. Tebow uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hogj's guard. Nice move by Tebow! Hogj has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tebow off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Tebow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hogj is defended easily by Tebow. Tebow defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hogj. Fifn Hogj is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tebow fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hogj is out of range. Horrible takedown by Hogj or perhaps it was just good defense by Tebow which made him look bad. Tebow misses with the combination.
Hogj shoots in and gets a takedown into Tebow's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hogj won't allow Tebow to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Fifn Hogj showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hogj, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joshy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Joshy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Joshy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Joner. Joner swats away the attempt to clinch by Joshy. Joner throws a right hand that Joshy ducks under and follows up with a left that Joshy also avoids with ease. Joner scores with a jab to the body. Joner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Joshy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Joshy lands in his opponent's guard. Joner wants to control the position but Joshy says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joshy is thwarting Joner's attempts to control the position. Joshy is working for a submission of some sort.
Joshy seems to be working for a kimura but Joner defends the submission attempt. Joner is controlling Joshy's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Joshy tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Joner throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Joner throws a series of punches but Joshy avoids them all with ease. Joshy dives in for a single leg takedown but Joner sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Joshy goes for a takedown in the clinch but Joner prevents it.

Joner is controlling Joshy's trapped leg to prevent Joshy from advancing to side control. Joner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joshy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Joner wants to improve his position but Joshy is controlling well.

That was a close second round but I would say that mr Joshy will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Joner lands a slapping body shot.

Joner effectively controlling the action here. Joshy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Joner fights it off and pushes away nicely.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Joshy. mr Joshy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Joner shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Joshy eats them both and turns towards Joner to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Joner jabs Joshy to the body, keeping him at a distance. Joner is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Joshy rather than just go for the knockout. Joner works Joshy's body with a nice hook. Joner lands with an uppercut that bounces Joshy off the cage and back into range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Joner lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Joshy backs up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joner looks to land a combination. Joshy sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Joshy shoots and misses and Joner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Joshy shoots for a takedown but Joner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Joner lands a jab to the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Joner closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Joner lands with a light punch inside. Joshy looking for a takedown. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A short right from Joner on the inside. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakai looking to score a takedown here. Hannawald is defending well but Nakai drives through and ends up in Hannawald's guard. Nakai trying to control but Hannawald is working from the bottom. Nakai has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Nakai looking to pass the guard. Nakai trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Nakai postures up.

Nakai keeping moving, preventing Hannawald from controlling successfully. Nakai is trying to control the position but Hannawald postures up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Sven Hannawald hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Nakai decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hannawald looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hannawald looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Nakai is looking to take a break and control but Hannawald is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Nakai thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hannawald's head. Nakai wants to take a breather but Hannawald is having none of it. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nakai connects with a nice short shot to Hannawald's temple. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Nakai has picked Hannawald up and slammed him! Hannawald can't keep hold of the triangle and Nakai manages to pass to side control! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Nakai working the head and body with strikes. Nakai postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hannawald prevents Nakai from improving position. Hannawald tries to get back to half guard but can't. Nakai wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hannawald, who protects the arm well. You can see the frustration on Hannawald's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
