Wiet comes to the cage accompanied by Mia - Paper Planes. The crowd seem to be enjoying Reis's choice of entrance music: Superbeast - Rob Zombie. Paulo Reis acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiet tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Reis shoots for a double leg takedown but Wiet sprawls well. He's pushed Reis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Reis gets in close and instigates a clinch.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Wiet here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mike Wiet will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Wiet.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wiet, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!
