I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Karl Mcneil was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcneil takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Parker tries to work over Mcneil's front leg with a kick but Mcneil checks it.
Mcneil showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Parker.
Parker has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Mcneil pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Parker back to the cage. Mcneil follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Keith Parker has been cut.
Mcneil fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mcneil lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Parker goes down and covers up as Mcneil starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Morley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bogaurd as he jumps to the side.
Morley misses with a head kick.

Morley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bogaurd sprawls well initially but Morley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Bogaurd looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Morley wants to stand up but Bogaurd has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Bogaurd on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bogaurd tries to get out of the position.
Morley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bogaurd's head.
Morley seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Morley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bogaurd tries to avoid it but Morley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bogaurd to the ground. Bogaurd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Morley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bogaurd's guard.

Well Morley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Lawson gets in close and tags Scuderi with a short punch that almost sends Scuderi to the mat! Oh Scuderi is in big trouble! He turns his back on Lawson, trying to create some distance but Lawson rushes him, striking wildly and Scuderi goes down! The referee tackles Lawson into the cage to end the fight! Lawson is one violent man!

Johnson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stone avoids it really well and circles away.

Stone lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Stone shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Johnson eats them both and turns towards Stone to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

We've been informed that Johnson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

and Stone counters with a left and a right that hurts Johnson! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Stone jumps into full mount!

Stone is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Stone finish him?
Stone misses with a head kick.
Stone batters Johnson with a massive right followed by a huge left! Johnson is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Stone lands a final crushing right hand to drop Johnson to the mat with a gruesome thud! Stone is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Zielinski's coach down at Valhalla:NY GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Zielinski's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Diddler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
