9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Seb Shawcross! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyler uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Shawcross. Tyler moves into range and clinches up with Shawcross. We've been hearing reports that Tyler has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Tyler manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Shawcross trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Tyler had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shawcross defends it easily. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coltrane tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nelson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Coltrane misses the shot to the body. Nelson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Coltrane looks to land a right hand but Nelson moved out of range. Nelson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Coltrane. Nelson throws a hook but Coltrane blocks it. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tao fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Liu manages to avoid it. Tao delivers a nice body kick. Tao checks a leg kick. Liu on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Tao takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Tao misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Liu throws a low kick but Tao moves out of range easily. Tao uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Liu. Liu throws a wild body kick that Tao sees coming a mile off. Tao scores with a nice body kick.
Liu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Liu thumps Tao with a low kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Liu with a body punch. A glancing blow. A looping hook to the body misses from Tao. Liu does a little dance to reset his feet. Tao is looking to clinch but Liu is avoiding it.

That could mean trouble for Tao! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tao wants to get back to his feet but Liu drags him back down. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Liu looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Tao is avoiding damage well.

Liu looking to sit in guard and control but Tao gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Liu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tao is one step ahead there. Liu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tao circles away quickly and effectively. Tao jabs at Liu's body. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Liu dodges the punch combination from Tao.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tao throws a nice outside leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tao shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jie Liu will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tao smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A nice inside leg kick there by Liu. That's going to slow Tao down. Liu throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Liu throws a series of punches but Tao moves out of range. Liu swings away with a leg kick that misses. Tao stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tao wants it to stay on the feet. Liu finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Tao throws a chopping leg kick but Liu manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Tao bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sloppy strikes from Liu. Those never looked like landing. Liu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tao.
Liu walks into a straight right hand from Tao. Tao fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Tao scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Tao's corner calls for a 1-2. Tao obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tao fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Liu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Tao misses with a body shot.

Tao misses with a leg kick and Liu counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Liu. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Liu won't allow Tao to get back to his feet. Liu working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Liu is looking to work some ground and pound but Tao has wrist control. Tao wants to sweep here but Liu controlling him for the moment.

Liu wants to control but Tao is keeping him busy.

Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Tao wants to improve his position but Liu is controlling well.

Tao sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Tao is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Liu rather than just go for the knockout. Liu throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Yin Tao seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Liu jabs Tao right on the nose. Tao blinks but takes it well. Yin Tao has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Tao didn't expect that. This has been an exciting period of action! Tao is looking to stand back up but Liu counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Tao. Liu lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Liu is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Liu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tao doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Liu. Jie Liu is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Punani is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Anderton stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Anderton feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Punani's calf.

Punani crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Anderton - the referee stops the clock and Punani gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Anderton. Punani manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Jamie Anderton seems to be getting the better of the standup. Anderton delivers a nice body kick. Anderton lands a head shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Anderton connects with a solid leg kick. Punani takes a shot right to the bread basket. Anderton has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Punani doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Anderton has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Whack! Anderton lands a heavy head kick that drops Punani. The ref tackles Anderton to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Punani was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie scores with a kick to the body.
Gracie connects with a body shot that sends Bickle 's belly button to the back. Bickle takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. A low kick from Bickle is predictable there and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bickle 's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Gracie with a flurry of punches that miss. Gracie stopping the sweep attempt from Bickle . Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bickle is working hard here to advance position.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Gracie working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gracie trying to control but Bickle is working from the bottom. Bickle pushes Gracie off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Gracie looks to score with a jab to the body but Bickle is just out of range.

Bickle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it. Bickle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gracie swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gracie bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bickle 's head backwards. Bickle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Gracie takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Some bone on bone action there as Gracie checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Bickle moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown but Bickle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gracie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Gracie works Bickle 's body with a nice hook. Bickle is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.

Bickle throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bickle throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Gracie has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bickle . A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Bickle . and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control. Gracie is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bickle will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Bickle is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Gracie is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Gracie prevents Bickle from getting the reversal. Gracie controlling from the full mount. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bickle wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Gracie.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie lands a couple of good shots and Bickle has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Bickle is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bickle . A decent looking cross lands there for Gracie. Bickle lands a nice shot that snaps Gracie's head back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bickle prevents Gracie from moving into mount. You can see the frustration on Bickle 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Bickle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bickle tries to buck Gracie off but Gracie is having none of it. Gracie creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Gracie cracks Bickle with a big right hand but Bickle just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Bickle catches Gracie right on the button with a cross. Gracie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bickle . Gracie throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Gracie throws a head kick but Bickle moves out of range.

Bickle misses with a looping left. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie throws a push kick but Bickle slaps the foot to one side. Gracie wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bickle is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gracie. Gracie throws the kick towards the body but Bickle avoids it. Bickle stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gracie. Bickle on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Gracie cracks Bickle with a right hand to the side of the head. Bickle takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Gracie moves out of range of the body kick. Gracie lands with a straight right. Bickle didn't see that one coming. Bickle closes the distance but Gracie moves to the side and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Gracie stopping the sweep attempt from Bickle . Gracie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bickle pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage. Gracie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie is looking to work some ground and pound but Bickle has wrist control. Bickle manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie has his foot on Bickle 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bickle works his way back into a safe position though. Gracie wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bickle is looking to stand up but Gracie won't let him. Bickle drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gracie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bickle has Gracie in his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Ricardo Gracie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gracie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
