The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut there from Velasqs. Sackett tries to clinch there but Velasqs circles away.
Sackett closes the distance and clinches up with Velasqs, looking for a takedown. Sackett pushes Velasqs against the cage but Velasqs circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Velasqs cracks Sackett with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Sackett scores with a head kick.
It looks like Cain Velasqs has been cut. Sackett misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sackett shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sackett showed some decent athleticism there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Velasqs looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powers misses with a lunging right hand
and Tynkkynen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Powers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A slow jab from Powers misses its intended target. A telegraphed right hand from Powers misses the target. Tynkkynen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Holding Cell in the buildup to the fight. Powers misses with an uppercut. Powers checks a leg kick nicely. Powers scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Rauno Tynkkynen has been cut. Powers staying out of range there. Powers connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tynkkynen momentarily.

Tynkkynen attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Tynkkynen defending well as Powers loads up on a big left hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Powers throws a jab when Tynkkynen was well out of range. Powers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Powers scores with a hook to the body. Tynkkynen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Powers. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Powers. Powers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Tynkkynen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Tynkkynen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Tynkkynen avoids the body shot from Powers.
Tynkkynen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Powers lands a nice hook to Tynkkynen's body. Tynkkynen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Powers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice uppercut lands for Tynkkynen. That snapped Powers's head back.
Powers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tynkkynen manages to avoid it. Nice defenses there by Tynkkynen. Tynkkynen cracks Powers with an uppercut from hell and Powers crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Tynkkynen's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Powers is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Tynkkynen stands up and waves to Powers to follow him. Powers is still on wobbly legs! Can Tynkkynen finish him? Tynkkynen gets a big slam - oh, Powers is out! Powers is out! That's a nasty KO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wei thuds his shin into the meat of Inn's side. Wei fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Inn. Wei jabs at Inn's body. Wei misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Inn.
Zhengtao Wei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wei swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wei finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Inn doesn't succeed with the takedown so Wei counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wei must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Wei trying to control but Inn is working from the bottom. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Inn's guard. Wei lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Inn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wei is keen to just control but Inn is a slippery customer. Wei passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Inn! Inn is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Inn is squirming around, avoiding Wei's attempts to control the action. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wei swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Inn is now in Wei's guard. A big mistake from Wei there, giving up the dominant position! Wei controls Inn momentarily but Inn frees himself. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Inn slips nicely into half guard. Wei is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Inn pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Inn takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Inn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wei manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Wei lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Trasseli takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Acunia throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Trasseli's head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Trasseli takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Trasseli takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

And that's the end of the fight! VinniJay Acunia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Acunia has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ari Kantola! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kantola throws a half hearted mid kick. Kantola moves out of range as Bolski strikes. Kantola waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bolski. Kantola misses with a series of wild punches.
Bolski dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Bolski misses the shot to the body. Bolski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bolski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kantola moves away. A swing and a miss from Bolski. Bolski scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Bolski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bolski connects with a couple of short punches. Bolski missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bolski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kantola wants to sweep but no luck. Bolski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bolski not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bolski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bolski is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bolski is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kantola.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ventura tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. De Noteboom manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ventura connects with the punch. Anthony Ventura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. An inside leg kick lands from Ventura. Ventura jabs De Noteboom to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ventura throws a solid leg kick but De Noteboom takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ventura. Ventura fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ventura shoots in looking for a takedown but De Noteboom manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ventura's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ventura uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ventura wants to clinch but De Noteboom slips to the side and De Noteboom counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Ventura gets back to full guard.

He's now in De Noteboom's guard. Nice move by Ventura! Ventura throwing strikes but missing. De Noteboom might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ventura scoring with some ground and pound. Ventura postures up.

Ventura trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Noteboom is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. De Noteboom is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ventura wants to control but De Noteboom is keeping busy.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ventura holds on and takes a little breather. Ventura avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ventura wants to stand but De Noteboom is controlling the position. Ventura working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from De Noteboom. Ventura utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ventura looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. De Noteboom postures up.
Ventura tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ventura keeps trying to improve his position. De Noteboom lands a couple of decent looking shots. Ventura seems keen to control De Noteboom's posture. This has been an exciting period of action! Ventura in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. De Noteboom trying to control the position.

Anthony Ventura dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as De Noteboom checks a leg kick. Ventura throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ventura fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt De Noteboom. That kick from Ventura tenderised De Noteboom's leg. De Noteboom is trying to keep his angry face on. Ventura throws an overhand right that lands on De Noteboom's shoulder, as De Noteboom tries to avoid the shot. A head kick lands from Ventura that sends De Noteboom to the canvas. De Noteboom tries to scramble back to his feet but Ventura brings him back down into side control.
It looks like Royston De Noteboom has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ventura throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. De Noteboom has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ventura tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Ventura throwing strikes but missing, from side control. De Noteboom is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at IMMA Gym of Elite ASS, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Ventura cracks De Noteboom with an elbow. That is naaassty. Ventura looking to punish the body of his opponent here but De Noteboom is avoiding damage well.
