The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gudas goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Mauricio Moura has been cut. Moura could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gudas buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Moura tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gudas swivels and escapes. Moura throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gudas's waist but Gudas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moura off to one side. Gudas lands a high kick to the side of Moura's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Gudas dives into guard, looking to finish.
Moura is rocked! Moura might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Moura is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gudas is stalling in the full guard. Gudas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Moura looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gudas is one step ahead there. Moura working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gudas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gudas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gudas is looking to stand up but Moura won't let him. Gudas avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Moura is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Moura keeping moving, preventing Gudas from controlling successfully. Moura working for a triangle but Gudas defends it easily.

Gudas is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Moura pulls down on the head and he's put Gudas to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oskar lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Oooooh!!! Oskar has knocked Christy down with a huge combo! Oskar steps away and waves a wobbly Christy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oskar stuns Christy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Christy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Christy throws a body punch but Oskar moves out of range. Oskar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Christy. Oskar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Oskar walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Oskar scores with a body shot.
Oskar swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Christy. Oskar scores with a decent looking hook. Oskar throws a nice looking combination but Christy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Oskar misses with a straight right. Christy swings away with a leg kick that misses. Oskar bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Christy's head backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oskar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oskar pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Oskar feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Christy sprawling to the canvas! Christy rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Oskar finish him?!
Christy is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Christy throws a jab but it's blocked by Oskar. Oh Christy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A telegraphed right hand from Oskar misses the target. Christy seems to have got his legs back now. Oskar moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The fighters circling - Oskar throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Christy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Oskar to score with a decent uppercut. Oskar thows a body shot but no joy. Oskar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Christy moves away. Oskar throws a looping overhand right but Christy ducks down to avoid it. Oskar scores with a jab to the body. Oskar lands a nice shot that snaps Christy's head back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Oskar sends Christy crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Oskar is motioning to the referee to let Christy up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! We've been hearing reports that Christy has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Christy throws a shot from downtown. Oskar moves away and avoids it. Oskar scores with a jab to the body. Christy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Christy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Oskar. A punch combination from Oskar misses. Christy shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Christy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Oskar is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Oskar shuts the power down on Christy. Lights out, game over! Oskar is your winner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rice steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stanford. Rice lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Rice defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Stanford. Stanford darts in looking for a takedown but Rice gets double underhooks and turns Stanford into the cage. Rice misses with the head strike.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Stanford. Stanford takes a shot to the head. Rice lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Stanford backwards. Stanford is looking to control Rice's arms but Rice gets an underhook and turns him. Now Stanford has his back to the cage. Stanford is trying to pull guard but Rice has him pressed against the cage. Spanish Rice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Stanford. Stanford working aggressively here.
Stanford tries to score a body lock takedown but Rice shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Rice working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A nice left hand lands by Rice.

Rafael Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rios misses with a two punch combination.
Rios gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Silva to score an easy takedown into full guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Silva forces his way into half guard. Silva prevents Rios from standing back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva is looking to work some ground and pound but Rios has wrist control. Silva drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rios looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rios looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rios! Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rios wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rios gets to mount! Silva was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Rios gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva. Silva looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Rios sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Diego Rios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Silva. Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rios but Rios pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rios misses with a head kick.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt. Rios throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva. Rios throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rios as he jumps to the side. Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Rios manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rios moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rios swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That was a close round but I would say that Diego Rios will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Rafael Silva's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A punch combination from Rios misses. Silva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rios did well to prevent Silva getting side control. Silva is looking for a kimura but Rios is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Silva to get the leverage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva with the ground and pound but Rios uses the opportunity to regain guard. Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rios manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has Rios in his guard. Silva is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rios defends well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rios is aware though and is defending well. Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rios can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rios wants to stand but Silva is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rios is posturing up here but Silva has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Rios tries to roll out but it's too tight and Rios has to tap! Slick submission there by Silva!

Pereira gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nice body kick there by Pereira. Herman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Pereira scores with a crisp jab that stopped Herman in his tracks. Pereira definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Pereira scores with a push kick. Pereira throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Herman on the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pereira lands a nice looking body kick. Pereira scores with a shot to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lepew rushes Silva and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Silva tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lepew smiles and moves away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Silva has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Lepew connects with a body shot that sends Silva's belly button to the back. Lepew doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Lepew uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Silva. Silva walks into a left hand. A jab from Lepew does it's job there. Silva throws the left hand but Lepew avoids the punch easily. Silva drives through and clinches with Lepew against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva fails to pull guard.
