The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bag is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Silva's half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bag is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Bag eventually gives up the hold.

Bag is looking for a kimura but Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bag to get the leverage.

A close round but Royce Silva will probably get the nod.
That's time! Bag's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Bag throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.

Silva isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bag stacks Silva on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bag!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bag is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Silva gets his way!

Bag is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Bag tries to escape but Silva has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Bag is trying to get back to his feet but Silva has full control of the position and if anything, Bag has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Silva is persistently looking for the submission but Bag is defending it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Silva has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bag has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Royce Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

I really don't envy Bag right now.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sitas.
Muncher fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sitas manages to avoid it.
Sitas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Muncher is fending him off so far but Sitas persists. Nope, Muncher circles away and we're back to standing.
A cross from Muncher lands.
Muncher fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Muncher fails to land with a series of punches.
Sitas misses with a takedown attempt - Muncher sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Muncher stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mama Sitas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sitas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Muncher pinned against the cage. Muncher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sitas pivots, looking for a leg kick but Muncher is out of range and Sitas settles back down.
Muncher lands with a nice combination. Sitas backs away looking to recover.
Sitas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Muncher.

No joy there for Muncher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mama Sitas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muncher throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Sitas colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Muncher as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Sitas is left battered and dazed whilst Muncher and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cok Muncher!
Cok Muncher bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
