The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrasek moves in looking to clinch but Space pushes him off. Petrasek wants to clinch. Petrasek shoots in and bounces Space off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Petrasek preventing the sweep. Petrasek looking to pass the guard. Petrasek is stalling in the full guard. Space is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Petrasek is aware though and is defending well. Petrasek scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Petrasek tries to free his leg and advance position but Space is retaining full guard. Space is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Space is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Petrasek can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacDonald closes the distance and clinches up with Kazlauskas, looking for a takedown. MacDonald pushes Kazlauskas against the cage but Kazlauskas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. MacDonald will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. MacDonald moves in looking to clinch but Kazlauskas pushes him off. MacDonald with a lazy takedown attempt and Kazlauskas counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cesys Kazlauskas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James MacDonald. MacDonald goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

MacDonald is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kazlauskas yanks on the arm and MacDonald is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kazlauskas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Denisov tries a low kick but Amarce avoids it. Amarce gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Amarce pulls Denisov in close to his closed guard and prevents Denisov from doing any damage or advancing position. Denisov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Amarce keeping moving, preventing Denisov from controlling successfully. Denisov gets to his feet. Amarce looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Amarce blocks a head kick by Denisov.
Amarce darts in and clinches Denisov up against the cage. Denisov gets a trip takedown into half guard. Denisov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Amarce sprawls well initially but Denisov persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Denisov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Denisov stalling away here and it's allowed Amarce to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Denisov stands up and waves to Amarce to follow him. Denisov tries to close the distance and clinch but Amarce swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A low kick from Amarce lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Denisov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Denisov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Amarce throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Amarce shoots in but no luck this time. Amarce wants to clinch and Denisov counters with a shoot takedown. Amarce fights it but they end up in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Denisov has gone for a leg lock! Amarce slips out almost immediately though and dives into Denisov's guard. Denisov is striking but Amarce is not phased and passes to half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Jake Coleman will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
