The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pascal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sheehan's waist but Sheehan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pascal off to one side.
Pascal has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pascal there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Olivier Pascal has been cut.
Pascal avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Sheehan as Pascal shoots in.
Justus Sheehan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sheehan sends Pascal crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sheehan is motioning to the referee to let Pascal up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Sheehan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Schmidt drops Rostecki with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rostecki looks back up at him and smiles so Schmidt waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Rostecki is rocked!

It looks like Adrian Rostecki has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Schmidt misses with a wild combination.
Oh Rostecki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Schmidt fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rostecki shoots for a takedown but Schmidt saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rostecki seems to have got his legs back now.

Schmidt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Schmidt lands a strong strike to the head of Rostecki. That's dazed him! Schmidt looking to finish here. Rostecki is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Schmidt lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
