The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kong feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bezerra looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kong is one step ahead there. Bezerra wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Kong is now in half guard. Bezerra is looking to control Kong's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bezerra avoid being mounted? Bezerra is in trouble now - Kong has advanced to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Bezerra is working to get back to half guard.

Kong is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bezerra is surviving well by controlling Kong's body position as best he can. Kong looking to ground and pound but Bezerra is blocking nicely. Kong seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Bezerra is holding on tight.

Bezerra really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bezerra defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Kong's arms. Bezerra tries to escape but Kong has the hooks in and won't let him break free. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
King Kong dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bezerra gets caught napping as Kong dives in and scores a takedown. Bezerra manages to retain guard. Bezerra wants to control but Kong passes easily into half guard.
Bezerra gets full guard. Kong stands and throws Bezerra's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bezerra tries to buck Kong off but Kong is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Bezerra is trying to control Kong's posture but Kong avoids it. Bezerra is looking for a sweep. Kong advances nicely into full mount.

Kong is looking for the choke from the back position but Bezerra is controlling his hands well. Bezerra is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kong is not going to allow Bezerra to sit and survive in this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kong looking for the choke but no joy. Kong looking for the choke from the back. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kong gets his hands free as Bezerra looks to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but King Kong will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
No luck for Bezerra with that takedown attempt. Bezerra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kong is fending him off so far but Bezerra persists. Nope, Kong circles away and we're back to standing. Kong slaps away a takedown attempt from Bezerra, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fabricio Bezerra. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kong keeps the fight on the outside. Kong manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bezerra on his heels. He'll look to pass Bezerra's guard now, I'm sure. Kong advances position into side control! Bezerra is looking for a sweep. Bezerra might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bezerra throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bezerra throws Kong to one side and escapes! Nice takedown defense from Kong. No joy for Bezerra on that attempt. Kong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kong has control of an arm but Bezerra manages to advance to Kong's back! Kong is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kong tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Bezerra unloads with some shots from mount but Kong bucks and avoids them well.
King Kong has got the better of the ground game so far. Bezerra prevents Kong from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bezerra throws a strike there. Kong manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Kong looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bezerra is stalling here. Kong is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bezerra seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kong has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Kong tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Fabricio Bezerra has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bezerra tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kong trying to control the action but Bezerra is working from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bezerra regains half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to King Kong. I've got Kong winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Braga looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Braga misses with a takedown attempt and Joaquin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Joaquin wants to free his trapped foot but Braga is holding on for dear life with his legs. Joaquin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Joaquin seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Braga is in big trouble! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsuo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Hugo Churchill has been cut. A nice inside leg kick there by Matsuo. That's going to slow Churchill down. Churchill swings for the body but Matsuo moves out of range.
Matsuo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Churchill . We've been hearing reports that Churchill has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Churchill moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Churchill chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Matsuo can pounce on him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Churchill jabbing away but nothing is landing. Churchill throws a lazy uppercut
and Matsuo counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Churchill thows a body shot but no joy. Matsuo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Churchill . A slow jab from Churchill misses its intended target.

Churchill throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Matsuo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Churchill shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Matsuo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Churchill is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Churchill pushes down on Matsuo's leg and manages to get into half guard. Churchill seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Churchill is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Matsuo! Churchill controlling the pace for now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Churchill avoids the attempt from Matsuo to control. Matsuo is in all sorts of trouble here.

Churchill lands a couple of good shots and Matsuo has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Matsuo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Churchill . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Matsuo is trying to get back to his feet but Churchill has full control of the position and if anything, Matsuo has just worked his way into a worse spot. Churchill throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Matsuo!

Churchill has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Matsuo is defending well but eventually Churchill manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Matsuo has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

Santos kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Meu Ébano. Fernando Santos had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jin Erik will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Erik tries to close the distance and clinch but Santos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Erik tries to avoid it but Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Erik to the ground. Erik escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Erik tries to clinch but Santos moves out of range. Erik uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Santos has time to react. Santos keeps the fight on the outside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Erik throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Santos was covering up waiting for the punch and Erik finishes the takedown easily into guard. Erik trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Santos has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Erik should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Santos has tightened it up now! Erik should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
