The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haraldsson rushes Jindapants and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Haraldsson with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Jindapants tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Haraldsson's elbow. Haraldsson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Jindapants pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Haraldsson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Jindapants rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Haraldsson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Haraldsson moves out of range of the strikes. Haraldsson scores with a head kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Hunter has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Ross! Hunter scores with a couple of good head shots there.
It looks like John Ross has been cut. Hunter raining down shots from the mount! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hunter landing strikes from the mount.

In his post fight interview, Stewart Hunter gave a big smile as he said 'Looks like this lad that they put me in the cage to maul may be better suited for another line of work! Bring on the next one, because they are all going to fall to The Loch Ness Monster!'. In defeat, John Ross stepped up to the mic, saying 'what can i say the other guy was just better.. congrats.. but our paths will cross again'.

It looks like William Moreland has been cut. Ozawa throws a nice looking combination but Moreland bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Moreland slips a jab and a cross from Ozawa.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ozawa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Ozawa looks to score with a jab to the body but Moreland is just out of range. Yuma Ozawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ozawa connects with a jab. Ozawa connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Ozawa misses with a looping left. Ozawa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Moreland can pounce on him.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Moreland. Moreland looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Moreland throws a solid leg kick but Ozawa takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Moreland. Moreland tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ozawa swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ozawa jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Moreland fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ozawa checks it well. Moreland tries to clinch but Ozawa moves out of range. Moreland tries to close the distance and clinch but Ozawa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Moreland throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Ozawa lunges at Moreland with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Moreland's hand. Ozawa lands a right hook to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Den thows a body shot but no joy. Den tries to land a front kick but Bait steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Den misses with the combination.
Den cracks Bait with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A head kick misses from Bait. Den avoids the body shot from Bait.
Den throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Den ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bait moves away. Den jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kule Den seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bait moves out of range of the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Den keeps Bait at a distance using the push kick. Bait throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Bait shoots in but Den avoids the takedown attempt easily. Den fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Bait counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bait. Bait has picked Den up - he's going for a ride! Bait dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Den trying to control here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bait is pressing down on Den's thigh, looking to free his foot. Den is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Den is trying to stand up here but Bait is controlling him well. Den has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Den blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bait. Bait has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bait thows a huge punch but Den dodges it nicely.
Bait thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Den's head. Bait wants to lay and pray for a moment but Den keeps working. Den works his way to full guard. Good work. Bait trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bait engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've been hearing that Bait has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Den is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bait passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bait working the ground and pound but Den is defending the strikes. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Den can do anything to dispel that myth. Den wants to control but Bait postures up. Bait has knee on belly and moves into mount. Bait is landing with some decent strikes but Den is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Bait unloading with bombs!
It looks like Kule Den has been cut. Bait goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Den turns into him and now he's in Bait's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Bait bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Den's guard. Den avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Den wants to sweep but no luck. Bait throwing strikes from guard but Den blocks nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Den keeping moving, preventing Bait from controlling successfully. Bait working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bait postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Den preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bait controls from within his opponent's guard. Bait is looking to work some ground and pound but Den has wrist control. Gator Bait overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bait content to stall in guard here. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Den knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bait throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bait thows a huge punch but Den dodges it nicely.
Bait is nestled in close to Den, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bait lands a nice short elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bait looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Den tries to roll over but Bait keeps him under control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Gator Bait showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bait, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
