The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soderberg wants to land a leg kick but Sandoval is out of range. Soderberg is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Tolonen. Russo moves in looking to clinch but Tolonen pushes him off. Russo defending well as Tolonen loads up on a big left hand. Russo misses with a hook. Tolonen ducked under it nicely. Russo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Russo connects with a body shot. Russo jabbing away but nothing is landing. Russo checks the leg kick nicely there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Tolonen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Russo on the side of the head. Russo connects with a crisp jab. Russo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Tolonen throws a head kick but Russo moves out of range.

Tolonen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Russo controls Tolonen momentarily but Tolonen frees himself. Russo is controlling Tolonen's posture. Tolonen is looking to work some ground and pound but Russo has wrist control. Russo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tolonen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Russo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Maeda is pressing down on Dufva's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dufva is holding on for now. Dufva is looking to control Maeda's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dufva avoid being mounted? Maeda has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dufva tries to hold on but Maeda pushes him away. Dufva is controlling Maeda's trapped leg to prevent Maeda from advancing to side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sensei ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Sensei is looking to slow Nixon down with leg kicks. Sensei wants to land a leg kick but Nixon is out of range. Nixon throws an overhand right that lands on Sensei's shoulder, as Sensei tries to avoid the shot. Sensei takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power darts in looking for a takedown but Dawkins gets double underhooks and turns Power into the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Power. A right handed body shot lands from Dawkins.
Power takes a shot to the head.
It looks like Danny Power has been cut. Power stalling in the clinch but Dawkins improves position. Dawkins is working Power over against the cage. Dawkins is trying to break free. Dawkins fails to pull guard.
Power tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Power swings away with an uppercut that misses.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Dawkins pulls Power into guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Womba swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Nice uppercut lands for Mousasi. That snapped Womba's head back.

and Womba counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Womba thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Womba is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mousasi sees it coming and defends easily. Womba seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mousasi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Mousasi blocking the ground and pound attempt from Womba. Womba is working for a submission of some sort.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Womba throwing shots but Mousasi is blocking nicely. Womba trying to pass the guard but Mousasi defending well.

I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Womba throws a jab when Mousasi was well out of range. Mousasi scores with a crisp jab that stopped Womba in his tracks. Mousasi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Womba. Mousasi misses the jab. Womba swings for the body but Mousasi moves out of range.

That's going to take a lot out of him.

Otso Jokinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jokinen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kersikov sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jokinen throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A punch lands to the side of Jokinen 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kersikov lands a leg kick that knocks Jokinen off balance momentarily. The fight stays on the outside here - Jokinen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jokinen throws a low kick but Kersikov avoids it.

and Kersikov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kersikov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kersikov wants to control from the top but Jokinen keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jokinen seems keen to control Kersikov's posture. Jokinen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kersikov content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kersikov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jokinen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kersikov wants to sweep here but Jokinen controlling him for the moment. Kersikov has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle.
