The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seven changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Prohaska looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Prohaska tries to improve position but can't. Seven is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Prohaska has escaped the position, nice work there. Prohaska is looking to reverse the position. Seven lands an elbow. Prohaska takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Prohaska tries to roll over but Seven keeps him under control. My spies in CB Gym inform me that Seven has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Seven is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Seven throws an elbow that misses. Prohaska uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Seven's guard. Nice move by Prohaska! Prohaska lands a couple of decent looking shots. Seven is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Prohaska is aware though and is defending well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Prohaska is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Seven is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Prohaska throws a big elbow that misses. Prohaska lands a couple of digs. Prohaska keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Seven's head. Prohaska trying to control the position from guard on top but Seven is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Seven looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Prohaska is defending well. Seven quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Prohaska has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Seven celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

David looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Loko misses with a few strikes there.
David slips a straight right by Loko. Loko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from David.
Loko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by David.
David throws a hook to the side of Loko's head but Loko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Loko throws a lazy right hand but David sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A slow jab from Loko misses its intended target. Loko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Loko lands a front kick. A slow jab from Loko misses its intended target. Loko tries to land a front kick but David steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

We've been told by David's head coaches at Royal Crown Elite that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Loko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Good leg kick by Loko there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Loko buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

David scrambles back to his feet. David lunges at Loko with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Loko's hand. Nice defenses there by Loko. David getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Loko pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Loko goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Loko scores with a punch to the head. Loko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from David. Loko connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Loko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but David moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Loko throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Loko throws a low kick but David moves out of range easily. David blocks the body kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. David misses with a kick to the body.

David closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Loko walks into a left hand. Loko throws a sloppy head kick and David moves out of range easily. David misses with a hook. Loko ducked under it nicely. A telegraphed right hand from Loko misses the target. Loko throws a series of strikes that have David backpedaling.

Loko turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. That kick from David tenderised Loko's leg. Loko is trying to keep his angry face on. Four Loko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

David lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A head kick misses from Loko. Loko throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and David counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Loko is rocked! Loko lands a jab to the nose. Loko bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Loko scores with a hook to the body. David takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Loko fakes the leg kick and cracks David in the body. David connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Loko's hands. David throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Loko. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Xavier David will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Loko throws a lazy right hand but David sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Loko keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from David. Loko seems to have recovered his senses. David takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
David throws a head kick that misses enabling Loko to counter with a crisp jab. Loko throws a body punch but David moves out of range. Loko checks a low kick from David. David connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Loko misses with a kick to the body.

David will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Loko looks to throw the jab but David is out of range. David takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Loko drops his hands momentarily and David takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Loko looks to score with a jab to the body but David is just out of range. David misses with a looping left.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but David circles away quickly and effectively. Loko misses with a straight right. David steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Loko. That one must have hurt. David takes a kick to the side of the head. Loko throws a one two combo.

Loko misses with a wild body shot. David darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Loko feints and then cracks David's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow David down. David lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Loko cracks David with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Loko tries a low kick but David avoids it. David tries to clinch but Loko moves out of range. Loko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Loko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but David manages to avoid it. David throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Loko lands a head kick!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. David lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Loko at a distance.
And that's the end of the fight! Four Loko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Loko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Lotus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Holmes is fending him off so far but Lotus persists. Nope, Holmes circles away and we're back to standing. Holmes stuffs the takedown attempt from Lotus. Lotus gets slowly back to his feet. Holmes gets caught napping as Lotus dives in and scores a takedown. Holmes manages to retain guard. Lotus postures up.
Lotus wants to pass the guard but Holmes is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holmes keeping moving, preventing Lotus from controlling successfully. Lotus drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Holmes dives on top into guard. Lotus looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Holmes has picked Lotus up and slammed him! Lotus can't keep hold of the triangle and Holmes manages to pass to side control! Lotus is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holmes just content to control the position. Lotus tries to buck Holmes off but Holmes is having none of it. Lotus gets back to half guard. Lotus told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Lotus wants to get back to his feet.

Holmes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lotus is looking for a triangle but Holmes pushes his legs off easily.

Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Holmes escapes and throws Lotus's legs to the side, diving into side control! Lotus is not content to let Holmes control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lotus is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Holmes's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Great action here. Lotus darts in looking for a takedown but Holmes gets double underhooks and turns Lotus into the cage. Lotus tries to break the clinch but Holmes is controlling the position. Holmes lands with a right to the head. Holmes keeps control of Lotus as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Holmes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A chopping leg kick lands by Holmes. Nice defenses there by Holmes. Lotus tries to clinch but Holmes is having none of it. Lotus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Holmes as he avoids it easily. Holmes fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Holmes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lotus. Lotus chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Holmes can pounce on him.

It connects and Lotus has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Holmes lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lotus at a distance.

Speed lands a nice uppercut. Smokeleaf tries to work over Speed's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Speed misses with a hook to the ribs.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Smokeleaf lands a left hand that snaps the head of Speed backwards. Smokeleaf tries to throw a body punch but Speed avoids it by throwing Smokeleaf back against the cage. Speed working aggressively here.

18 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Ricard! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ricard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Compton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Ricard fails with an attempt to clinch.
Compton scores with the left hand. Ricard knows he should have avoided that one. Ricard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Compton slips a jab and a cross from Ricard.
A chopping leg kick lands by Compton. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Compton moves away from the strike by Ricard. Compton misses with a two punch combination.
Ricard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

It looks like Frank Ricard has been cut. Compton blocks a head kick by Ricard.
Compton gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ricard. Compton feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ricard sprawling to the canvas! Ricard rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Compton finish him?!
Ricard is rocked! Ricard takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Ricard is still on wobbly legs! Can Compton finish him? Ricard looks winded! Compton shoots in and bounces Ricard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Compton postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ricard covers up, he's hurt! Compton keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Compton and the ref steps in to end the fight! Compton can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buck Compton! Buck Compton tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

We've been told by Bateman's head coaches at Allstars MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Hunt takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hunt defending well as Bateman loads up on a big left hand. Bateman moves in looking to clinch but Hunt pushes him off. Hunt closes the distance but Bateman moves to the side and Bateman counters with a slapping leg kick. Hunt lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Bateman throws a big shot that misses. Bateman throws a head kick but Hunt moves out of range.
Nice body kick there by Hunt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hunt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A good leg kick by Hunt. Bateman throws the kick towards the body but Hunt avoids it. Bateman pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Bateman swings for the body but Hunt moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt wants to clinch up but Bateman keeps it at a distance. Bateman pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hunt does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hunt walks into a jab.
It looks like Tony Hunt has been cut. Bateman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Bateman takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hunt misses with an uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hunt tries to clinch but Bateman is having none of it. Hunt moves in looking to clinch but Bateman pushes him off. Bateman gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Bateman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hunt slips under a jab. Bateman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Bateman throws a series of punches but Hunt avoids them all with ease. Hunt forces Bateman back against the cage and clinches. Hunt putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Bateman in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Bateman working hard to break the clinch. Hunt scores a nice knee to the body.
Bateman lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Still in the clinch, Hunt scores with a nice short uppercut. Bateman blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Bateman managing to block the knees to the body from Hunt.
A short right from Bateman on the inside. Hunt throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bateman blocks it with crossed arms. Hunt lands a nice elbow. Hunt with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bateman managing to block the knees to the body from Hunt.

Hunt throws a combination that misses and Bateman counters with a straight right hand. Hunt scoring well with a low kick there.

A jab lands there for Hunt. Bateman lands with a cross. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hunt with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Bateman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hunt moves away. Bateman tries to close the distance and clinch but Hunt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hunt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bateman sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bateman swings for the body but Hunt moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunt darts in and clinches Bateman up against the cage. Bateman wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bateman lands a left hand.

Bateman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hunt throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Nice uppercut lands for Hunt. That snapped Bateman's head back.
Hunt does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hunt clinches. Hunt misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bateman.
Hunt lands an elbow inside that Bateman shrugs off. Hunt throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Hunt keeps control of Bateman as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bateman on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Bateman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hunt's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bateman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hunt scrambles back to his feet. Bateman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tony Hunt will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tony Hunt's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Hunt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bateman. Bateman throws a leg kick but Hunt sees it coming and moves out of range. Hunt throws an overhand right that lands on Bateman's shoulder, as Bateman tries to avoid the shot. Bateman connects with a looping right hand.

Bateman fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Hunt misses with a right hand and Bateman counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Hunt throws a leg kick but Bateman moved away. Bateman looks for the body kick but Hunt saw that one coming. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A head kick by Bateman - that's a beauty! Hunt is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Bateman can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
