The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vanglski scores with a takedown into Kole's guard. Kole is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vanglski defends well. Vanglski is looking to work some ground and pound but Kole has wrist control. Kole is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vanglski is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kole is trying to keep Vanglski in close.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Mabogo.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mabogo. Mabogo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Mabogo plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Aleksandr Karelin has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mabogo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Karelin. That did some damage! Karelin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mabogo sprawls well initially but Karelin persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Mabogo is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Karelin throwing shots but Mabogo is blocking nicely. Mabogo trying to control from the bottom.

Kenalemodisa Mabogo has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Mabogo lands a nice looking kick to the body. Karelin takes a step back to recover. Karelin looks winded!

A chopping leg kick lands by Mabogo. Mabogo lands a brutal head kick. Karelin looks out on his feet and Mabogo throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Kenalemodisa Mabogo! Kenalemodisa Mabogo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koba rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
so Rendziok counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Rendziok looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Koba wants to stand but Rendziok is controlling the position. Koba wants to sweep but no luck. Rendziok is looking to work some ground and pound but Koba has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koba working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rendziok. Rendziok with a nice head shot there. Rendziok postures up in Koba's guard and throws a big left but Koba blocks it. Koba really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rendziok. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rendziok throws a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koba looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rendziok postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rendziok content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rendziok trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rendziok accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rendziok is in close to Koba's body, working some short punches and elbows. Rendziok stands up over Koba, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rendziok postures up and lands a big shot to Koba's brow. Rendziok throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rendziok seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Koba utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Koba can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rendziok postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rendziok sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Koba's guard. Rendziok missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Rendziok will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rendziok has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Koba wants to hold on but Rendziok pushes him away. Rendziok lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Wight takes the fight into the clinch. Wight is looking to control Bob's arms but Bob gets an underhook and turns him. Now Wight has his back to the cage. Bob tries to work over Wight's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Wight lands a nice knee to the body. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Bob takes an elbow to the temple. Wight is struggling to control the position. Wight creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Bob's defenses. Wight lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bob is trying to break the clinch but Wight is controlling him. Wight gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Wight really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. A relieved looking Lex Wight thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. WIlliam Bob was interviewed post fight and said 'Me and Lane have faught before and I came out on top, This time I just didn't have it in me. Thanks for the fight Lane your the best.'.

Banner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boycheck looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Banner decides to stand back up. Boycheck seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Banner fails to land with a series of punches.
Boycheck feints a jab promting Banner to slip. Boycheck then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Banner slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carson throws a head kick but Boets moves out of range.
Boets will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. We've been informed that Carson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Boets takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Boets has been working on his boxing with his coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight. Boets takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Boets misses with a takedown attempt - Carson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Boets closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee asks Boets politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Boets prefers to stall for the moment though. Carson wants to control but Boets postures up. Carson backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Boets's temple! It sends Boets violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Carson celebrates and the doctors try to help Boets!

Carter swings and misses with a shot to the body and Velasquez counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Velasquez not landing any meaningful shots this time. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harlamov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bonapart shoots in and gets a takedown into Harlamov's guard. Bonapart got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harlamov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bonapart has managed to get both his arms back between Harlamov's legs - danger averted. Harlamov keeping moving, preventing Bonapart from controlling successfully. Bodhidharma has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Cropp rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bodhidharma moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cropp. Cropp dives in for a single leg takedown but Bodhidharma sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Bodhidharma has Cropp pushed against the cage. Cropp trying to control the position but instead, Bodhidharma has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cropp into the cage. A short right from Bodhidharma. Cropp jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bodhidharma walks away with a smile on his face. Karol Cropp decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
