Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Ash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Felder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Felder has chosen cat man will ef you up as his entrance music. James Felder told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Adam Ash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James Felder! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ash is looking to clinch. Sloppy strikes from Ash. Those never looked like landing. Ash ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ash scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Ash content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Felder avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ash. Ash thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Felder's head. Ash wants to take a breather but Felder is having none of it. Ash thows a huge punch but Felder dodges it nicely.
Ground and pound from Ash. Ash is stalling here. Felder is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ash seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Felder has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Felder is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ash has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ash struggling a bit here. Felder lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Ash is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Felder is controlling him well. Felder stands up and beckons Ash to his feet. Felder misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ash shoots in for a takedown but Felder shows good takedown defense. Ash jabbing away but nothing is landing. Felder moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Ash has closed the distance and engaged Felder in a clinch.
Ash pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A combination from Felder does no damage. James Felder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A momentary lapse in concentration from Felder enables Ash to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Felder manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ash chips away with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ash in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ash throws a big right hand that misses. Ash content to stall in guard here. Ash tries to free his leg and advance position but Felder is retaining full guard. Ash with a flurry of punches that miss. Felder preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Felder keeping moving, preventing Ash from controlling successfully. Felder is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ash throws an elbow that misses. Felder uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ash's guard. Nice move by Felder! Felder seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Felder gets to his feet. Ash looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Felder tries to clinch but Ash moves out of range. Felder throws a series of punches but Ash moves out of range. Ash moves into the clinch. Ash is pushing Felder up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Ash pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ash throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Felder looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A jab lands there for Ash. Felder stuffs the takedown. Felder misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ash misses the jab. Ash throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Felder stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Ash moves away from the strike by Felder. Ash on the wrong end of a nice jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice takedown defense from Felder. No joy for Ash on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Ash. That's going to take a lot out of him. Felder throws a series of punches but Ash avoids them all with ease. Ash looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Some wild striking there from Felder.
A punch combination from Felder misses. Felder leaves Ash with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ash misses with the combination.
Felder pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ash back to the cage. Felder follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Ash fails in his attempt to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam Ash dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ash looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Felder wants to improve his position but Ash is controlling well.
Ash drops an elbow to the side of Felder's head. Ash prevents Felder from improving his position. Felder works his way to full guard. Good work. Ash stopping the sweep attempt from Felder. Ash advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ash is trying to control the action in half guard but Felder is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Ash is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Felder! Ash controlling the pace for now. Felder suckers Ash into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Felder is now in Ash's guard!
Felder lands a couple of decent looking shots. Felder tries to stand but Ash is controlling from the bottom. Ash is trying to control the position but Felder postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Felder trying to control but Ash is working from the bottom. Ash controls Felder momentarily but Felder frees himself. Adam Ash overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Ash has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Felder can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ash has control of Felder's left arm, preventing Felder from doing any damage. Felder wants to stand but Ash has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Felder pushes down on Ash's leg and manages to get into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ash has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Felder is working away from the top position though. Felder prevents Ash from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Felder is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Ash regains full guard. Nicely done. Felder is looking to stand up but Ash won't let him. Ash looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Ash wants to pass the guard but Felder is keeping the position. Ash wants to control from the top but Felder keeps moving. Ash stands up over Felder, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Ash advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ash scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Felder to see if he's OK. Ash working the head and body with strikes. Ash trying to control the position but Felder is working away. Felder takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Felder seems a little lost for a moment, as Ash dominates the positioning. Ash tries to score with some ground and pound. Felder controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Ash working the head and body with strikes. Ash cracks Felder with an elbow. That is naaassty. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Felder is not content to let Ash control the position. Ash throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Ash scores with a couple of short elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ash is trying to ground and pound but Felder uses the momentary lack of control by Ash to regain half guard. Ash prevents Felder from improving his position. Ash is keen to just control but Felder is a slippery customer. Ash lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Ash is trying to control. Felder wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Felder felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ash with the ground and pound but Felder uses the opportunity to regain guard. Ash wants to control from the top but Felder keeps moving. Felder controls Ash momentarily but Ash frees himself. Ash controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Adam Ash is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Ash's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We're going to have a standup here because Adam Ash wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Ash dodges the punch combination from Felder.
And that's the end of the fight! Adam Ash showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ash, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Glenn manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A head punch blocked on the inside by Glenn. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Belfort lands an uppercut. Belfort 's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! A short right from Belfort on the inside. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Glenn takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Belfort walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Glenn works Belfort 's body with a nice hook. Glenn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Belfort manages to avoid it. Belfort pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A lazy body kick from Belfort and Glenn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Belfort thinking. Glenn misses with a straight left. Glenn swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Horrible takedown by Glenn or perhaps it was just good defense by Belfort which made him look bad. The crowd cheers as Glenn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Belfort doesn't seem phased though. Belfort pushes Glenn away with a front kick. A jab from Belfort misses. Glenn cracks Belfort with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glenn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Belfort 's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Glenn trying to control the position from guard on top but Belfort is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Glenn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Belfort bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Glenn's guard. Belfort chips away with some ground and pound. Belfort scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Belfort trying to control but Glenn is working from the bottom. Belfort won't allow Glenn to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jordan Belfort was stalling too much, according to the referee. Belfort misses with a kick to the body.
Glenn throws a hook but Belfort avoids it easily. Belfort pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Glenn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Belfort was well out of range. Poor timing from Glenn. Glenn throws a chopping leg kick but Belfort manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Glenn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Keith Glenn is winning the standup battle so far. Glenn doesn't manage to clinch there - Belfort circles away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Glenn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Belfort displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Glenn throws out the jab. Glenn is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Belfort has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Glenn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Belfort manages to avoid it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Keith Glenn will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Belfort lands a glancing blow to the side of Glenn's head. Glenn throws an overhand right that lands on Belfort 's shoulder, as Belfort tries to avoid the shot. Glenn lands a really nice looking cross but Belfort seems unphased.

Belfort looks to land a body kick but Glenn moved away. Nice jab there from Glenn. Belfort shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Glenn defends it nicely. Glenn lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

That will dishearten Belfort somewhat. Glenn tries to keep at a distance but Belfort has taken the fight into the clinch. Glenn misses with an elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belfort misses with a short punch on the inside. Come on Glenn - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Belfort jumps guard but Glenn turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Keith Glenn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Belfort . Belfort lands with a right to the head. Glenn tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Belfort tries to pull guard but Glenn forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Belfort presses Glenn against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Glenn lands a left hand.

Belfort swings wildly with an uppercut but Glenn uses good head movement to avoid it. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Belfort . Glenn is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Belfort pulls him back up using the underhooks. Glenn tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Glenn gets through Belfort 's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glenn changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Belfort fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Belfort closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Glenn did well to prevent Belfort getting side control. Belfort prevents Glenn from improving his position. Belfort thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Glenn won't allow Belfort to pass to mount. Glenn is pressing down on Belfort 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Glenn controls Belfort momentarily but Belfort frees himself. Glenn working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Belfort .
That's four minutes gone in the round. Belfort in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Belfort working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Belfort pushes down on Glenn's leg and manages to get into half guard. Belfort throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Belfort sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Glenn defending well though. Belfort looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Belfort has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Belfort wants to free his trapped foot but Glenn is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Stelzer cracks Kage with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Stelzer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kage sees it coming and avoids it easily. Stelzer throws a looping overhand right but Kage ducks down to avoid it. Kage uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stelzer. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! He's out cold! Away gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Shonuck pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sosa is out of range and Shonuck settles back down. Shonuck scoring well with a low kick there.
Sosa fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Sosa feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Shonucks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
And that's the end of the fight! Nir Sosa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sosa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Butcher gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hermansson to score an easy takedown into full guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Dogu is looking for a sweep. Wagner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dogu is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Dogu is desperately trying to improve his position but Wagner has a good base and remains in mount. Dogu tries to lock up and control but Wagner gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Dogu is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dogu sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Dogu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wagner trying to control the action but Dogu is working from the bottom. Dogu is trying to get back to full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wagner seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Dogu wants to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Orkan Dogu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Wagner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dogu takes a swing at Wagner's ribcage but misses. Dogu lands a lovely overhand right. Dogu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wagner.

Wagner throws a jab when Dogu was well out of range. Dogu missing with a left hand there. Wagner was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Dogu thows a left - swing and a miss! A looping hook to the body misses from Dogu. Wagner does a little dance to reset his feet. Wagner paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Dogu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wagner.
Dogu lands a jab to the nose. Wagner sizes up Dogu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Wagner throws a jab when Dogu was well out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dogu ducks under a wild hook from Wagner. Wagner takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Wagner throws a push kick but Dogu slaps the foot to one side. Dogu throws an overhand right that lands on Wagner's shoulder, as Wagner tries to avoid the shot. Dogu walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Wagner misses with a left hand and Dogu counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dogu. Wagner working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dogu. Wagner controls Dogu momentarily but Dogu frees himself. Dogu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dogu working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Wagner's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wagner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dogu throwing strikes but missing. Wagner has momentary wrist control but Dogu slips an elbow through the middle. Dogu landing with the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dogu throws a big right hand that misses. Dogu is stalling in the full guard. Dogu lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dogu is looking to work some ground and pound but Wagner has wrist control. Dogu throwing strikes but missing. Wagner keeping moving, preventing Dogu from controlling successfully. Wagner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dogu throwing strikes but missing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dogu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dogu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dogu looking to sit in guard and control but Wagner gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dogu wants to improve his position but instead Wagner has moved into half guard.
Dogu is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wagner's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wagner's back! Wagner has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Dogu. Well, with Dogu on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Wagner is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Dogu misses with punches from the back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dogu wants to control but Wagner is keeping busy. Wagner tries to break free.
Wagner turns into Dogu and is now in his guard.

Orkan Dogu really dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dogu takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Wagner on the wrong end of a nice hook. Ryan Wagner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wagner looks to score with a jab to the body but Dogu is just out of range. Dogu tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wagner defends well and Dogu ends up having to push Wagner into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Dogu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A slow jab from Wagner misses its intended target. Wagner attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Wagner rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dogu counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wagner wants to sweep here but Dogu controlling him for the moment. Dogu with a flurry of punches that miss. Dogu stands and throws Wagner's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dogu tries to score with some ground and pound. Wagner controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Dogu works to advance to full mount. Wagner defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Dogu with a couple of short strikes. Wagner is trying desperately to improve position. Dogu with the ground and pound from mount. Dogu putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dogu lands a heavy elbow. Poor strikes thrown by Dogu there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Wagner is rocked! It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Dogu postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Wagner badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Dogu around the waist but Dogu pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Dogu is the winner by TKO! Dogu jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
