The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack dives in for a single leg takedown but Pearson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jack is trying to pull guard but Pearson has him pressed against the cage.

Pearson circles away from the clinch attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jack goes for a double leg but Pearson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pearson continues to drive forward.

Garnett circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Tosen drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Garnett follows Tosen to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Coton tries to bum rush York with a series of wild strikes but York uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Jamie Coton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Coton tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

York drops Coton with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Coton looks back up at him and smiles so York waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
York scores with a shot to the body.

York fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Coton square on the jaw! Damn, Coton is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
