Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dale Bunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dale Bunga had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Denis Turk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, ILja Muromets!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jampo misses with a body shot.
Jampo swings widly with a right hand

and Muromets counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Jampo wants to stand and escape but Muromets is having none of it.
Muromets wants to control from the top but Jampo keeps moving.
Muromets won't allow Jampo to get back to his feet.
Muromets pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jampo is keeping the position for now.
Jampo tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Muromets drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jampo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jampo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jampo!
Jampo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Muromets tries to improve position but can't.

Jampo wants to stand but Muromets is controlling his arm.
Muromets can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Muromets is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Muromets is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Jampo wants to stand but Muromets has his arm trapped.
Muromets is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Jampo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jampo wants to pass to mount but Muromets is defending the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Muromets scores with a punch to the head.
Muromets uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jampo.
Jampo cracks Muromets with an open hand slap.

It looks like ILja Muromets has been cut.
Muromets pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jampo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Muromets uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jampo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice uppercut lands for Muromets. That snapped Jampo's head back.
Muromets bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We've been told by Jampo's head coaches at Tres Puntos FC that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jampo looks to score with a jab to the body but Muromets is just out of range.
Jampo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Muromets.
Muromets uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jampo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Jampo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


A left lands for Jampo.
Jampo is pawing at Muromets, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Muromets's nose. Muromets is badly hurt! Jampo pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Muromets tries desperately to hold on but Jampo is relentless in his assault! As Muromets receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Jampo away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sampo Jampo!
After winning the bout, Sampo Jampo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
