Gavilan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Karhula moves away.

Karhula throws a hook to the side of Gavilan's head but Gavilan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Karhula chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gavilan can pounce on him.
Karhula's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Karhula throws a nice looking combination but Gavilan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Karhula's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gavilan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Karhula scrambles back to his feet.

Gavilan looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

Gavilan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gavilan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gavilan drops his hands momentarily and Karhula takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gavilan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Karhula clobbers Gavilan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Karhula goes for a double leg but Gavilan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gavilan continues to drive forward.

Karhula has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Karhula is trying to push Gavilan away but Gavilan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Karhula is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gavilan pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Tero Karhula is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Kid Gavilan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tero Karhula.
Gavilan misses with the head strike.
Gavilan is pushing Karhula up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Gavilan breaks the clinch.
Gavilan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Karhula shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gavilan defends it nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gavilan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Tero Karhula.
I've got Karhula winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Tero Karhula made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
