1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yoko Suna! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mountain tries to clinch there but Suna circles away.

Nice takedown defense from Suna. No joy for Mountain on that attempt. Suna misses with a hook. Suna's coach down at Area 51 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Suna's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Mountain staying out of range there. Mountain shoots for a takedown but Suna saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Suna's corner calls for a 1-2. Suna obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like The Mountain has been cut. Mountain misses with a straight left. Mountain tries for a takedown but Suna sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Mountain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mountain displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Suna throws out the jab. Nice defenses there by Mountain. Suna throws out a loose jab but Mountain uses good head movement to avoid it. The fight stays on the outside here - Mountain looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mountain tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Suna defends well and Mountain ends up having to push Suna into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mountain working hard to break the clinch. Mountain tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Suna smiles and moves away.

Suna has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Suna there as he acknowledges the shot. Suna lands with a good body shot. Mountain takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Mountain is breathing heavily. A combination from Suna does no damage. Suna misses with a double jab.
Suna throws an overhand right that drops Mountain like a sack of potatoes! Suna dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Butterbean. Cardan throws a lazy right hand but Butterbean sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Cardan looks to land a combination but Butterbean avoids it well. Cardan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A good leg kick by Butterbean. Butterbean is looking to slow Cardan down with leg kicks. Cardan throws a lazy right hand but Butterbean sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Butterbean throws the kick towards the body but Cardan avoids it. A combination from Cardan does no damage. Cardan is looking to clinch. The fighters circling - Butterbean throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Butterbean moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Butterbean wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Cardan is breathing heavily. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Butterbean to score with a decent uppercut.

You could hear that one land in a back row.

Butterbean does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Cardan might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Butterbean throws an overhand right that lands on Cardan's shoulder, as Cardan tries to avoid the shot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cardan closes the distance and clinches. Butterbean pushes Cardan back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Butterbean wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cardan has him pressed against the cage. Cardan swings wildly with an uppercut but Butterbean uses good head movement to avoid it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Derfel Cardan. I think Butterbean has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Daddy V takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Parker moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors!
