Rider tries to keep at a distance but Ching has taken the fight into the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Rider has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Ching goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rider jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ching walks away with a smile on his face. Rider gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ching has eaten all the pies!
Ching moves in looking to clinch but Rider pushes him off.

Ching drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Gulastav bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Angle's head.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Angle.
Angle is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Heinrich Gulastav seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Angle walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Angle definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Angle. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gulastav seems a little lost for a moment, as Angle dominates the positioning.
