Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Fernando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fernando has chosen Miss Jackson as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernando fails to land the takedown.
Fernando goes for a double leg but Rogan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rogan continues to drive forward.

Fernando drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rogan pulls his leg out and moves away.

Fernando gets to his feet. Rogan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Fernando feints and as Rogan raises his hands in defense, Fernando changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

It looks like Fernando might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Fernando tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Rogan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fernando tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rogan is in Fernando's guard.

Fernando has his foot on Rogan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rogan works his way back into a safe position though.

Rogan is posturing up here but Fernando has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Rogan tries to roll out but it's too tight and Rogan has to tap! Slick submission there by Fernando!

Rolling steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lebow. That one must have hurt.
Lebow tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rolling manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Josh Lebow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lebow pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Good leg kick by Rolling there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Rolling throws out a loose jab but Lebow uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Lebow connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Kasparaitis doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kasparaitis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kasparaitis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bariga has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bariga and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bariga throws a hook but Kasparaitis blocks it.
Bariga throws a looping overhand right but Kasparaitis ducks down to avoid it.
