Johnson slaps away a takedown attempt from Huynh, before circling back to the center of the mat. Decent striking displayed by Johnson there. Johnson moves into range and connects with a jab. Huynh throws a body kick that misses. Johnson throws a right and a left that Huynh avoids nicely. Carl Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Huynh falls off balance throwing a combination
and Johnson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Johnson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Johnson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Huynh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Huynh shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well. Johnson works over Huynh's head and body with a nice combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A left and a right from Johnson both land. Nice combination. A shot to the liver by Johnson. Beautiful body shot. Nice sprawl there from Johnson as Huynh shoots in. Carl Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Huynh. Johnson misses with a wild combination.

Huynh should have avoided that one. Good exchange - Johnson coming out on top. Johnson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Huynh back to the cage. Johnson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Huynh takes a jab right on the kisser.

Johnson stuns Huynh with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Johnson misses the shot to the body. Huynh tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johnson swivels and escapes. Johnson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Huynh. Huynh circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Johnson takes a swing at Huynh's ribcage but misses. Johnson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A nice combination there by Johnson.

Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Huynh moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Johnson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Carl Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Johnson throws a looping overhand right but Huynh ducks down to avoid it. Huynh shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Huynh shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Huynh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Huynh looks winded! Johnson connects with a single shot there. Sloppy strikes from Johnson. Those never looked like landing. Johnson misses with a few strikes there.
Johnson thuds his right hand into Huynh's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That's gotta hurt. Johnson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Huynh at a distance.

Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Johnson is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Huynh seems to have recovered his senses. Johnson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Huynh is looking to escape. Huynh is looking to improve his position but Johnson isn't that keen on the idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Johnson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnson throws a right hand that Huynh ducks under and follows up with a left that Huynh also avoids with ease. Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Johnson cracks Huynh with an open hand slap. Johnson connects with a combination that backs up Huynh into the cage. Johnson lands a flurry of punches that gets past Huynh's guard. Huynh is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Johnson bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carl Johnson! After winning the bout, Carl Johnson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

and Dark counters with a takedown into side control. Best is pushing Dark's head away, looking to escape. Dark manages to hold on to the position though. Dark trying to control the action but Best is working from the bottom. Dark works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Best can't do much from the bottom here. Dark grinds an elbow into Best's temple. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Demon Dark! A very excited looking Demon Dark rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Nestor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Thorpe shoots in looking for a takedown. Nestor tries to sprawl out of it but Thorpe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nestor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thorpe looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Thorpe stalling away here and it's allowed Nestor to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Nestor has his feet on Thorpe's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Nestor throws a jab but it's blocked by Thorpe. Nestor tries to clinch but Thorpe is having none of it. Nestor misses with a two punch combination.

so Thorpe counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Thorpe works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Nestor has one foot on Thorpe's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Nestor takes a swing at Thorpe's ribcage but misses. Thorpe slips a straight right by Nestor. Nestor throws a poor cross that misses
and Thorpe holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Thorpe keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nestor's efforts to push away.

Nestor ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nestor no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Thorpe wants to control from the top but Nestor keeps moving. Thorpe is in close to Nestor's body, working some short punches and elbows. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thorpe decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Thorpe walks into a straight right hand from Nestor. Nestor throws a looping overhand right but Thorpe ducks down to avoid it. Thorpe connects with a body shot that sends Nestor's belly button to the back. Dustin Nestor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nestor avoids the head kick by Thorpe.
Nestor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thorpe moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nestor throws a lazy right hand but Thorpe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Thorpe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Thorpe shoots in but no luck this time. Thorpe lands with an uppercut that bounces Nestor off the cage and back into range. Nestor throws a shot from downtown. Thorpe moves away and avoids it. Nestor misses with a looping right. Dustin Nestor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Nestor misses. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Thorpe digs a good hook to Nestor's body.
Nestor displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Thorpe. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nestor connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Nestor paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Thorpe is looking to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dustin Nestor will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nestor gets in close and tags Thorpe with a short punch that almost sends Thorpe to the mat! Oh Thorpe is in big trouble! He turns his back on Nestor, trying to create some distance but Nestor rushes him, striking wildly and Thorpe goes down! The referee tackles Nestor into the cage to end the fight! Nestor is one violent man!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Archer. Knight attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Knight tries to close the distance and clinch up but Archer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Knight displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Archer. Archer throws out a loose jab but Knight uses good head movement to avoid it. Knight throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Knight lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Knight throws a lazy head kick and Archer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Archer misses with a low kick.
Nice uppercut there from Archer. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Knight dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Archer. That did some damage! Vann Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Knight lands an overhand right.

Knight tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A big left from Knight misses. Archer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Knight sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Archer somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sterling Archer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
