The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beast clinches with his opponent.

Beast jumps guard and drags Xui to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Beast working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Xui.

Xui has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Beast to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Xui is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Beast pulls down on the head and he's put Xui to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragunav is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Dragunav or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith which made him look bad.
Smith lands with a hook. Dragunav tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Smith shoots for a takedown but Dragunav saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Smith lands a right hook to the body.
Smith throws a half hearted mid kick.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dragunav sprawls well. Dragunav wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.

Smith wants to stand but Dragunav is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ramses Dragunav hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Smith wants to sweep here but Dragunav controlling him for the moment.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dragunav shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Smith is on queer street and Dragunav is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

Muranov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Son's guard.
