Izecson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of corcoveador, into his guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Izecson showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rad Clone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fox's entrance music is 50 Cent Ft. Eminem - Psycho. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fox lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Clone looks to throw the jab but Fox is out of range. Fox scores with a crisp jab that stopped Clone in his tracks.
Clone is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fox throws a right hand that Clone ducks under and follows up with a left that Clone also avoids with ease. Clone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Clone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fox as he jumps to the side. Fox lands a big shot that drops Clone! Can he finish him?
Clone is still in real trouble! Can Fox finish him? Fox controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Clone seems to have recovered his senses. Clone is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fox defends well. Clone can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fox controls the pace. Fox's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Clone connects with a crisp jab. Fox connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Fox throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Clone is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fox. Fox lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Fox. Clone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fox tries to avoid it but Clone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fox to the ground. Fox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Clone looks gassed! Fox tests Clone's chin there with a solid looking shot. Clone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd cheers as Fox lands an impressive looking overhand right. Clone doesn't seem phased though.

Fox swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Clone's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lima checks a leg kick. Lima takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Dries Gordos has been cut. Gordos scores with a takedown into Lima's guard. Lima has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gordos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gordos won't allow Lima to sweep him here. Gordos not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Lima wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gordos wants to control from the top but Lima keeps moving. A lull in the action here as Gordos stalls from top position. Gordos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lima keeps working. Gordos might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lima kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Lima pushes Gordos away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gordos gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Gordos takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lima doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lima manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lima lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gordos looking for a sweep. Not yet Gordos, not yet.

Lima slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lima is looking to take a break and control but Gordos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gordos gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Lima breaks from Gordos's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lima cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cadu Brandao! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Brandao with that takedown attempt. Sobral misses the shot to the body. Sobral scores with a jab to the body. Sobral takes a swing at Brandao's ribcage but misses. Brandao shoots in and bounces Sobral off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Brandao has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sobral is proving hard to escape from. Sobral throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
