Enrike Lima forces Rodrigues back against the cage and clinches. Enrike Lima gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. A head punch on the inside from Rodrigues fails to land. Rodrigues trying to control the position but instead, Enrike Lima has worked for underhooks and has pushed Rodrigues into the cage. Rodrigues swings wildly with an uppercut but Enrike Lima uses good head movement to avoid it. Rodrigues throws a head punch that misses. Enrike Lima keeps control of Rodrigues as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Enrike Lima could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Enrike Lima blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Rodrigues lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Hirano has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at KPJ's Gym . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Hirano pushes Ben off looking to stand but Ben dives back in and keeps control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ben throws an elbow that misses. Hirano uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ben's guard. Nice move by Hirano!

Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Alexsandr Slemenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Svork Silva. Slemenko walks into a straight right hand from Silva. Slemenko slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.

No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slemenko leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Svork Silva dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Silva dives in for a single leg takedown but Slemenko sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Silva has picked Slemenko up - he's going for a ride! Silva dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Silva thows a huge punch but Slemenko dodges it nicely.
Slemenko makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Slemenko. Silva throws a big elbow that misses. Silva in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Slemenko works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Slemenko is trying to keep Silva in close.
Silva has gone for a leg lock! Slemenko slips out almost immediately though and dives into Silva's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A jab from Mizu misses. Mizu closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. We've been told by Mizu's head coaches at Valhalla:NY GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Life throws a jab when Mizu was well out of range. Mizu on the wrong end of a nice hook. Mizu is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Life dodges the punch combination from Mizu.
Mizu misses the shot to the body. Mizu misses the shot to the body. Mizu throws a right and a left that both miss. Mizu fails to land with a series of punches.
Mizu misses with a looping right. Mitsurin Mizu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mizu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Life. Mizu misses with a looping left. Mizu connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Life throws a nice looking combination but Mizu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Life with a jab. Mizu wobbles Life with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Mizu dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Life to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Attilius tries to avoid it but Stamatis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Attilius to the ground. Attilius escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Marcus Attilius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Athan Stamatis. Stamatis throws a wild body kick that Attilius sees coming a mile off.

A head kick misses from Stamatis. Stamatis loads up on a big right hand but Attilius slips the punch. Stamatis has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Stamatis throws a hook to the side of Attilius's head but Attilius sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Stamatis cracks Attilius with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Stamatis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Attilius's guard. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Stamatis. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Attilius manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stamatis throws a body punch but Attilius moves out of range. Stamatis darts in looking for a takedown but Attilius gets double underhooks and turns Stamatis into the cage. Marcus Attilius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Athan Stamatis. Attilius is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Attilius pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Attilius's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stamatis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Attilius scrambles back to his feet. Stamatis thows a body shot but no joy.

Stamatis connects with a solid leg kick. Stamatis bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Attilius's head backwards. Stamatis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Attilius displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stamatis. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stamatis misses with a few strikes there.
And that's the end of the fight! Athan Stamatis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Stamatis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Good leg kick by Tarnowski there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spliff keeping moving, preventing Tarnowski from controlling successfully.
