The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hordan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Aguete connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hordan scrambles back to his feet.
Hordan avoids the body shot from Aguete.

Aguete misses with a two punch combination.

No joy there for Aguete, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aguete swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hordan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Aguete swivels and escapes.
Aguete lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hordan backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hordan misses with a takedown attempt - Aguete sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Smiles doesn't manage to clinch there - Staunton circles away.

Staunton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Smiles wants to stand up but Staunton is controlling him.
Staunton postures up in Smiles's guard and throws a big left but Smiles blocks it.
Staunton stands up over Smiles, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nikolopoulos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Baker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nikolopoulos somewhat.
Nikolopoulos backs away from a small jab... but Baker lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Nikolopoulos crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Baker with a spectacular finish!

Zulughanov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Spillane's guard.
Zulughanov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Spillane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Spillane makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Spillane.

Zulughanov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Spillane is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Let's hope that Zulughanov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

We're going to have a standup here because Nickey Spillane wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Spillane takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Zulughanov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nice takedown defense from Zulughanov. No joy for Spillane on that attempt.
Good leg kick by Zulughanov there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Spillane shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Spillane was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

George has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

White feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends George sprawling to the canvas! George rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can White finish him?!

George is rocked!
George drops his hands for a split second and White immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into George face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. White follows up with a right hand that knocks George into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
