The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gustavsson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Horrible takedown by Vieira or perhaps it was just good defense by Katakutan which made him look bad. Vieira closes this distance looking for a takedown but Katakutan circles away. Katakutan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Katakutan misses with a wild combination.
Katakutan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Katakutan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Vieira is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Katakutan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Katakutan shrugs it off. Vieira wants to control the pace but Katakutan is squirming around nicely. Vieira with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Cojones throwing strikes from guard but Scott blocks nicely. Scott wants to sweep here but Cojones controlling him for the moment. Scott preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Cojones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Scott swivels though and keeps the full guard. Scott seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mayo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Man lands with a hook. Mayo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Man throws a lazy uppercut
and Mayo counters with a nice uppercut. Man looks to score with a jab to the body but Mayo is just out of range. Mayo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Man checks a low kick from Mayo. Man takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Man gets a clinch. A short uppercut from Mayo. Mayo connects with a nasty looking knee right to Man's face.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Man has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Man takes a knee to the side of the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mayo tries to work over Man's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Mayo throws a punch but it's blocked by Man. Mayo trying to stall but Man improves his position.

Mayo blocks a body shot from Man. I was talking to Mayo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Man lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mayo backwards. Mayo content to slow the pace in the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Man creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Mayo is rocked! Man creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Mayo's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Mayo drops to his knees and Man pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Day Man! After winning the bout, Day Man thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zerkle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Skiddles as he avoids it easily. Skiddles throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Skiddles lands with a hook. Zerkle tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Zerkle shoots in and gets a takedown into Skiddles's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Skiddles is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Zerkle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Skiddles has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zerkle has managed to get both his arms back between Skiddles's legs - danger averted. Zerkle decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Zerkle clinches up with Skiddles and pushes him back against the cage. Skiddles swings wildly with an uppercut but Zerkle uses good head movement to avoid it. Skiddles takes an elbow to the temple. This has been an exciting period of action! With the fighters clinched against the cage, Skiddles creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Skiddles is trying to push Zerkle away but Zerkle has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zerkle lands an elbow just above Skiddles 's eye.
It looks like Byron Skiddles has been cut. Zerkle pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Skiddles is trying to break the clinch but Zerkle is controlling him. Skiddles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Zerkle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Skiddles was covering up waiting for the punch and Zerkle finishes the takedown easily into guard. Zerkle wants to control from the top but Skiddles keeps moving. Skiddles can't keep his opponent in guard - Zerkle advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Zerkle looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Skiddles looking for submissions off his back. Skiddles has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Zerkle thows a huge punch but Skiddles dodges it nicely.

Zerkle works his foot free and advances to mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Zerkle working for a guillotine from mount but Skiddles is in no mood to give up.

Zerkle wants to control the pace but Skiddles is squirming around nicely. Skiddles tries to hold on but Zerkle postures up. Zerkle trying to control but he's not successful this time. Skiddles is looking to get to half guard. Skiddles regains half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zerkle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Skiddles defends it well. Skiddles trying to control but Zerkle postures up.
Zerkle is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zerkle is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Zerkle working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Skiddles is not content to let Zerkle control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zerkle is looking to stall here but Skiddles recovers full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Skiddles is trying to keep Zerkle in close.

Skiddles feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zerkles jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Zerkle fails with the takedown. Zerkle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Skiddles was covering up waiting for the punch and Zerkle finishes the takedown easily into guard. Skiddles tries to land a sweep but no joy. Zerkle engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Skiddles is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Skiddles is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zerkle is aware though and is defending well. Zerkle wants to pass the guard but Skiddles is keeping the position. Zerkle is working Skiddles over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Skiddles tries to improve position but can't. Zerkle decides to stand back up. Zerkle steps back and let's Skiddles get back to his feet. Skiddles misses with an attempted mid kick.
Zerkle shoots for a double leg takedown but Skiddles sprawls well. He's pushed Zerkle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Byron Skiddles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marvin Zerkle. Zerkle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Skiddles can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zerkle lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Skiddles hang on?

Tim is controlling the pace.

McNash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tim is going oldschool here, as he tries to force McNash to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so McNash shrugs it off. Tim lands a big elbow.

Tim has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. McNash trying to control the hands but Tim breaks the grip. Tim lands punches and elbows. McNash is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Tim off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Tim is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. McNash has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Tim has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! McNash taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Tim doesn't care though - he's delighted!

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Bravo! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brahe throws a push kick but Bravo slaps the foot to one side. Brahe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A telegraphed right hand from Bravo misses the target. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bravo checks a leg kick. Bravo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brahe manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Brahe is trying to control the position but Bravo postures up. Brahe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bravo is one step ahead there. Bravo trying to control the position from guard on top but Brahe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brahe controls Bravo momentarily but Bravo frees himself. Bravo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brahe keeping full guard, as Bravo tries to pass. Bravo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bravo has gone for a leg lock! Brahe slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bravo's guard. Bravo working for submissions but it's allowed Brahe to get to half guard.
Brahe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bravo on the ground. Brahe keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Bravo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brahe wants to pass the guard but Bravo is defending well. Bravo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bravo keeps trying to improve his position. Bravo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bravo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brahe controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tycho Brahe has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Brahe throws a front kick aimed at Bravo's knee but Bravo avoids it well. Brahe misses with a wild body shot. Brahe scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Tycho Brahe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Brahe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Brahe connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Johnny Bravo has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! A big left from Bravo misses. A nice leg kick lands there from Brahe. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bravo throws a lazy uppercut
letting Brahe counter with a right hand. Bravo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brahe sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tycho Brahe dominated that round. The cut man is working on Johnny Bravo's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Brahe throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Brahe lands with a kick to the ribs.
Brahe throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brahe pushes Bravo away with a front kick. Brahe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bravo sprawling to the canvas! Bravo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Brahe finish him?!
Bravo is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice body kick there by Brahe. Brahe scores with a push kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Brahe. That's going to slow Bravo down. Brahe lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Brahe moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Bravo is breathing heavily. Bravo bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Brahe comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Bravo falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Bravo was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tycho Brahe! A relieved looking Tycho Brahe thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. In defeat, Johnny Bravo stepped up to the mic, saying 'Yeah, whatever!'.
