Tanner Provenjzano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Provenjzano misses with a wild body shot. Provenjzano lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Knight goes down and covers up as Provenjzano starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tanner Provenjzano! Our winner, Tanner Provenjzano, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

3 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rcrs Sarabjit! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

Sarabjit gets caught flat footed, as Rush shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Rush is stalling in the full guard. Sarabjit preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sarabjit can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rush controls the pace. Rush has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Rush shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sarabjit manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rush loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Rush lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Sarabjit is looking for a triangle but Rush pushes his legs off easily.
Rush is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Sarabjit should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Rush wants to control from the top but Sarabjit keeps moving. Rush is really struggling to control Sarabjit but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Rush shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sarabjit as he avoids it easily.
Sarabjit moves into the clinch.
Rush has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sarabjit regains guard immediately. Rush content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rush throwing strikes but missing.

He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Rush looking to sit in guard and control but Sarabjit gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rush pulls Sarabjit in close to his closed guard and prevents Sarabjit from doing any damage or advancing position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Split Rush dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Sarabjit throws a right and a left that Rush avoids nicely. Sarabjit shoots in but no luck this time. Rush has a takedown stuffed. Sarabjit misses with a takedown attempt - Rush sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Rush gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sarabjit counters with a left and a right that stings Rush. Sarabjit will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rush misses with a takedown attempt - Sarabjit sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Split Rush. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sarabjit closes the distance and clinches up with Rush, looking for a takedown. Sarabjit pushes Rush against the cage but Rush circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rush shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sarabjit pinned against the cage. Sarabjit gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rush keeps the fight on the outside. Sarabjit fails with the takedown. Rush throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sarabjit's waist but Sarabjit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rush off to one side. Sarabjit stuffs the takedown attempt from Rush. Rush gets slowly back to his feet.
Rush decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Sarabjit is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rush pulls his head out easily. Rush with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Rush is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sarabjit wants to get back to full guard. Rush throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rush looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Rush is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Rush tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sarabjit knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Rush connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Rush raining down hammerfists from mount. Rush looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rush connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Rush unloading with bombs! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Split Rush dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Sarabjit with a lazy takedown attempt
and Rush counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sarabjit's guard now. Split Rush overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rush wants to pass the guard but Sarabjit is keeping the position. Sarabjit working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rush. Rush tries to free his leg and advance position but Sarabjit is retaining full guard. Rush postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rush slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Sarabjit keeping moving, preventing Rush from controlling successfully.

Sarabjit throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rush's waist but Rush gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sarabjit off to one side. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sarabjit is defended easily by Rush. Split Rush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rcrs Sarabjit. Sarabjit shoots in looking for a takedown. Rush tries to sprawl out of it but Sarabjit keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rush manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rush closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rush lands in his opponent's guard. Rush throws a big elbow that misses.

Rush throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sarabjit works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rush is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Rush trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sarabjit has eaten all the pies! Rush cracks Sarabjit with a solid left hand. Rush scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Rush distracts Sarabjit with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Rush will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rush in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rush landing with the ground and pound. Rush stands up over Sarabjit, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rush trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rush is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sarabjit can do to turn this around?
Sarabjit looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Rush lands a nice shot to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rush landing strikes from the mount and Sarabjit is in trouble! Rcrs Sarabjit has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Split Rush is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The referee warns Sarabjit that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Split Rush showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rush, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Veilleux thows a left - swing and a miss! Mizuno uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Veilleux.
Mizuno tries to clinch but Veilleux is having none of it. Mizuno fails in his attempt to clinch. Veilleux fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mizuno tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Veilleux manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Mizuno is looking to clinch but Veilleux is avoiding it.
Sloppy strikes from Veilleux. Those never looked like landing. Mizuno pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Veilleux takes a swing at Mizuno's ribcage but misses. Mizuno takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Mizuno staying out of range there. Mizuno moves out of range of the strikes. Mizuno slips a jab from Veilleux. Veilleux misses with an uppercut. Mizuno saw that one coming. Veilleux throws a right hand that Mizuno ducks under and follows up with a left that Mizuno also avoids with ease. Mizuno on the wrong end of a nice hook. Veilleux turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mizuno misses with an attempted mid kick.

Veilleux works Mizuno's body with a nice hook. Veilleux throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Mizuno throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A slapping body kick lands there for Mizuno. Mizuno tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Veilleux paws at him with a jab and circles away. Veilleux bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mizuno's head backwards.

Veilleux looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Mizuno throws a sloppy head kick and Veilleux moves out of range easily. Mizuno throws a half hearted mid kick. Veilleux takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Veilleux looks to land a right hand but Mizuno moved out of range.
Veilleux lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Mizuno sprawling to the canvas. Veilleux follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Mizuno hang on?

Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. Jun Mizuno was interviewed post fight and said 'Team Goroshi - Kore Fight Nutrition - Euolucao MMA - CEFC'.

DiM has taken the fight to the clinch.
DiM gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. DiM wants to pass the guard but Resnov is keeping the position. DiM is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
DiM drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and DiM jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. DiM sitting in guard here, content to control. DiM wants to pass the guard but Resnov is keeping the position. Resnov keeping moving, preventing DiM from controlling successfully. DiM stops Resnov from standing up.

Resnov takes a swing at DiM's ribcage but misses. DiM tries to close the distance and clinch but Resnov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. DiM has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Resnov is landing a low percentage of strikes. DiM moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Resnov gets tackled into the cage by DiM. DiM maintains the clinch. A short left from DiM.
DiM has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Resnov regains guard immediately. Resnov keeping full guard, as DiM tries to pass. DiM trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. DiM passes into half guard. Resnov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. DiM is working away from the top position though. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Resnov avoiding damage under a succession of punches from DiM. DiM content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Resnov won't allow DiM to pass to mount. Resnov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for DiM on the ground. DiM landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. DiM keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. DiM has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
DiM is trying to work for a kimura but Resnov is defending well.

DiM frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. DiM wants to control the pace but Resnov is squirming around nicely. DiM cracks Resnov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! DiM is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Resnov can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
DiM controlling the position easily from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. It looks like DiM might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nich DiM dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
DiM fails in his attempt to clinch. Resnov throws a leg kick that is checked and DiM counters with an outside leg kick.
Resnov has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from DiM. Nice body kick from DiM. DiM shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. DiM pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Resnov steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from DiM. That one must have hurt. Resnov misses with a looping right. DiM lands a leg kick that knocks Resnov off balance momentarily. DiM lands a nice looking kick to the body. Resnov takes a step back to recover. Resnov jabs DiM right on the nose. DiM blinks but takes it well. Resnov takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

DiM has picked Resnov up - he's going for a ride! DiM dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
DiM is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! DiM content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

DiM is stalling in the full guard. DiM advances to half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! DiM looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Resnov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lloyd connects with a good right hand that stumbles Perry. Perry circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Lloyd misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Perry counters with a slapping leg kick. Lloyd misses with a wild body shot. Lloyd takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. This has been an exciting period of action! Lloyd lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Perry keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lloyd has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lloyd and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lloyd wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Perry. A leg kick checked by Lloyd. Perry is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Perry connects with a solid leg kick. Lloyd defending well as Perry loads up on a big left hand.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. McQuade clobbers Gerrard with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Mick Gerrard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McQuade checks the leg kick.
