The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Smith shoots in but Ra avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ra connects with a solid leg kick.

Smith feints and as Ra raises his hands in defense, Smith changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ra lands a nice leg kick that just misses Smith's sensitive parts.

Ra lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Ra takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Machida tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sodallo was well out of range. Poor timing from Machida.
Sodallo lands the left hand.
Machida blocks the body kick.

Machida smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Rakharo Sodallo has been cut.
Donk. Machida catches Sodallo right on the button with a cross.
Machida ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sodallo moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Machida is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sodallo misses the shot to the body.
Machida tries to bum rush Sodallo with a series of wild strikes but Sodallo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sodallo misses with a lunging right hand
and Machida counters with a left and a right... And another left! Sodallo is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!

Soze tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fondels swivels and escapes.
Fondels connects with a good right hand that stumbles Soze. Soze circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Fondels scores with a jab.
Fondels scores with a kick to the body.
Soze swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Soze changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fondels tries to avoid it but Soze manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fondels to the ground. Fondels escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fondels connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Soze's hands.
Fondels lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Fondels.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Soze moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Soze moves out of range of the body kick.
Fondels lands with an uppercut that bounces Soze off the cage and back into range.
Fondels lands a body shot.

Fondels drops Soze with a beautiful combination! Soze stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fondels is looking for the KO!
Soze fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Andy Fondels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keyser Soze.
Fondels lands with a good body shot.

Fondels cracks Soze with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Fondels has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Soze to stand back up!

Soze is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fondels drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Soze right on the button. Soze goes down! Fondels follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Fondels gets the win via TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alien feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Alien's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Alien has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Alien is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but D Cruz has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Alien is looking to defend but D Cruz has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Alien! D Cruz pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Alien taps out and this one is all over!
