Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hans Krueger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toma Takahara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hans Krueger had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Toma Takahara has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Hans Krueger's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krueger avoids the head kick by Takahara.

Krueger has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Takahara tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Krueger paws at him with a jab and circles away. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Krueger is defended easily by Takahara. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Takahara rushes Krueger and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Takahara lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Krueger has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Krueger and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Limmer tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Agious tries to escape but Limmer is in control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Limmer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Limmer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Agious is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Agious is not content to let Limmer control the position. Lars Limmer has got the better of the ground game so far. Limmer misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

And that's the end of the fight! Lars Limmer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Limmer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rua shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Filipovic sprawls well. Filipovic wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rua gets slowly back to his feet. Rua tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Filipovic has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Rua fails with the takedown. Filipovic misses with a double jab.
Rua changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Filipovic tries to avoid it but Rua manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Filipovic to the ground. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Buchanan. Zeus lands a nice hook to Buchanan's body. Buchanan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Buchanan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zeus circles away. Buchanan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Zeus. Buchanan looks to score with a jab to the body but Zeus is just out of range. Buchanan scores with a kick to the body.
