Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adam Worrington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ross Rhea! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rhea takes a body punch but keeps moving. Good exchange - Worrington coming out on top. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rhea. Worrington fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Worrington wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Rhea shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Worrington but Worrington pushes him off and we're back to square one. Worrington bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rhea's head backwards. Rhea tries to close the distance and clinch up but Worrington swats him away and circles back towards the center. Worrington lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rhea circles away quickly and effectively. Rhea tries to clinch there but Worrington circles away.
Worrington throws out a token jab with nothing on it. No joy there for Rhea, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Worrington shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rhea napping and manages to drive through into side control! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Worrington tries to score with some ground and pound. Rhea controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Rhea takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Worrington decides to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rhea goes for a double leg but Worrington avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Worrington continues to drive forward. Adam Worrington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ross Rhea. Rhea throws an elbow that misses.

Worrington drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rhea pulls his leg out and moves away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rhea. A combination from Rhea does no damage. Worrington gets a clinch. Worrington pushes Rhea back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Ross Rhea has been cut. Worrington breaks from the clinch.
Adam Worrington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Worrington misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Worrington. Rhea does a little dance to reset his feet. Rhea stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rhea wants it to stay on the feet.

enabling Rhea to counter with a crisp jab. Horrible takedown by Worrington or perhaps it was just good defense by Rhea which made him look bad. Worrington misses with a two punch combination.

Worrington is looking to stand up but Rhea isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rhea wants to control from the top but Worrington keeps moving. Rhea preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rhea slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Worrington throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Rhea swings around for an armbar but Worrington sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Rhea's guard. Rhea looking for a guillotine here but Worrington defends easily.
Worrington throws an elbow that misses. Rhea uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Worrington's guard. Nice move by Rhea! Worrington wants to sweep here but Rhea controlling him for the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Worrington will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rhea postures up and lands a big shot to Worrington's brow. Worrington wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Rhea manages to pass to side control. Rhea uses the momentum to regain guard. Worrington lands a couple of digs. Worrington is in close to Rhea's body, working some short punches and elbows. Rhea bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Worrington's guard. Worrington knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. Worrington takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Rhea shoots in looking for a takedown. Worrington tries to sprawl out of it but Rhea keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Worrington manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Worrington missing with a left hand there. Rhea was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Worrington throws a right and a left that Rhea avoids nicely. Rhea avoids a punch combination nicely.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rhea utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Worrington is looking to pass into half guard but Rhea pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Rhea is in guard. Worrington has a closed guard, preventing Rhea from standing up. Worrington working a defensive guard but Rhea manages to pass into side control anyway.

"Ole!" shouts Worrington as he jumps to the side. Worrington scores with a one two! Rhea had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Worrington moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Rhea is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Worrington drops Rhea with a nice combination! Worrington dives into Rhea's guard, looking to finish!

Worrington postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Rhea looking for a sweep. Not yet Rhea, not yet. Rhea takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Worrington landing with the ground and pound. Worrington loads up on a big left hand. Rhea felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Worrington looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Rhea can't hide his disappointment, as Worrington celebrates the victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dolinger displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dux throws out the jab. Dolinger with a poor takedown and Dux counters with a single leg into guard. Dolinger didn't expect that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dux wants to stand but Dolinger has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dolinger tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dux tries to stand but Dolinger is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dux wants to stand and escape but instead Dolinger has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Dolinger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dux swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dux on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dux tries to get out of the position. Dux is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dolinger dives into side control.

Possibly, maybe, no Dolinger has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dux is trying to escape and get back to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Dolinger looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Dolinger looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Justice jabs at Bagares's body. Bagares swings away with a leg kick that misses. Justice tries to clinch up but Bagares circles away and keeps his distance. Justice fails to land with a series of punches.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Justice tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Justice ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Justice no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Justice avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bagares scoring with punches to the head and body. Bagares missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Justice working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bagares has passed into half guard!
Bagares decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

A head kick misses from Justice. Bagares could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Justice looks winded! Justice moves to clinch but Bagares breaks away and Bagares counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Nice body kick from Bagares. Justice blocks a head kick by Bagares.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bagares turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Bagares digs a good body shot into Justice's ribs. Bagares has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bagares is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A short body shot lands from Bagares as the two fighters clinch.

Bagares's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Justice tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bagares manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A big left from Justice misses. Justice swats away the attempt to clinch by Bagares.

Bagares misses with a leg kick and Justice counters with a thumping low kick. Justice moves out of range as Bagares strikes. Seth Justice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Justice is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Justice lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Justice. Justice is still on wobbly legs! Can Bagares finish him? Bagares cracks a nice hook into Justice's ribs. Matt Bagares is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Justice connects with a high kick. Justice seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bagares connects with a body shot. Bagares thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Justice if he has to take too many more of those.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Bagares throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Justice is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

Martin Mallard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baudelio has his takedown stuffed letting Mallard counter with a right hand. Baudelio checks a leg kick. Mallard goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mallard lands a two punch combo.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Baudelio has eaten all the pies! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mallard shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Baudelio eats them both and turns towards Mallard to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Mallard lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Baudelio can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Mallard and Baudelio drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Mallard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sy tries to close the distance and clinch but Wall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sy moves to clinch but Wall breaks away and Wall counters by clinching up. Wall jumps into guard, dragging Sy to the mat.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Wall looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sy is one step ahead there. Sy wants to get up but he can't break Wall's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Sy wants to pass the guard but Wall is keeping the position. Wall looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sy wanted to stand there but Wall had control of the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Tobias Wall was stalling too much, according to the referee. Wall shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Sy trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wall prevents Sy from standing back up.
Wall trying to pass the guard but Sy defending well. Sy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wall thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sy's head.

Wall keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Wall looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Wall takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Wall has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Clinic . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. This has been an exciting period of action! Wall is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Sy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Wall. Wall slows the pace down in half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wall misses with a head shot. Sy uses the momentum to regain guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wall lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Sy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Sy prevents Wall from getting the reversal. Sy lands a couple of good shots and Wall has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Sy is striking well from the back but Wall escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being. Wall manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Wall throws a lazy head kick and Sy moves into the clinch. Sy tries to score a body lock takedown but Wall shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sy tries to clinch up. Wall closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sy quickly recovers to half guard. Sy trying to control but Wall postures up.
Wall is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sy is trying to stand back up but Wall is controlling him

Wall scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wall moves into full mount! Sy won't be happy about that! Sy is bucking up trying to escape but Wall cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Wall won't let Sy get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Wall tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Wall avoids the attempt from Sy to control. Sy is bucking up trying to escape but Wall cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sy tries to reverse the position but Wall maintains control. Wall working away from the top, dropping strikes. Wall lands a couple of good shots and Sy has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Wall has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Sy's body.
Wall is punishing Sy with strikes - can he finish him?!
Sy is rocked! Sy is taking damage to the body and head. Oh Sy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wall has good solid back control here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wall lands shots to the head and Sy turtles up! The ref has seen enough and stops the fight! This one is over!
