24 - 10 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Samuraimo Rassi! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fluke takes a swing at Rassi's ribcage but misses. Rassi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Rassi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fluke.

Fluke blocks a jab. Rassi closes the distance and pushes Fluke back into the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Rassi. Fluke lands a right hand. Rassi misses with a hook from the clinch. Fluke taking a breather. Rassi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Flukes head. Rassi lands an elbow inside. Rassi pushes off an throws an elbow but Fluke leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Rassi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Fluke blocks it with crossed arms. A nice left hand lands by Fluke.

Rassi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fluke throws out the jab. Fluke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rassi throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Fluke swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A head kick by Fluke misses and Rassi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Oh Fluke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fluke dives in and grabs Rassi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rassi pushes down on Fluke's head and hops out. Nice straight punches there by Fluke. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fluke. Fluke fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rassi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Fluke seems to have got his legs back now. Rassi fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. A punch combination from Fluke misses. Fluke throws a body shot but no joy. Rassi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rassi throws a quick head kick that knocks Fluke silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Rassi is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Samuraimo Rassi! Samuraimo Rassi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

It looks like Orville Redenbacher has been cut. Redenbacher has closed the distance and engaged Galt in a clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Galt is looking for a sweep. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Redenbacher decides to stand back up. Redenbacher steps back and let's Galt get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Orville Redenbacher will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Orville Redenbacher's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

I was talking to Redenbacher's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Galt lands a shoulder strike. Redenbacher tries to throw a body punch but Galt avoids it by throwing Redenbacher back against the cage. Galt has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Redenbacher uses from the top position. Galt trying to control the position here. Redenbacher engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Redenbacher's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Orville Redenbacher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Redenbacher tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Galt was well out of range. Poor timing from Redenbacher. Redenbacher jabs at Galt's body. Redenbacher moves out of range of the body kick. Galt takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Redenbacher goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. That was a close round but I would say that Alexandre Nieto will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nieto bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Nieto dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nieto forces Arana back against the cage and clinches. Arana tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Nieto is looking to take this one to the mat. Arana is leaning against Nieto and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Still in the clinch, Nieto scores with a nice short uppercut.

He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nieto and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Nieto blocks a leg kick. Nieto takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Arana goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Nieto throws a leg kick and Arana makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Nieto misses with a left hand and Arana counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yue moves into full guard.

Pitbull is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Pitbull is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Yue doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pitbull. Pitbull is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Yue moves into full guard.

Yue wants to control the position but Pitbull says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Pitbull misses with a head shot. Yue uses the momentum to regain guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sabonis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stone somewhat. Stone avoids the body shot from Sabonis.

Sabonis throws a nice inside leg kick. A shot to the body from Sabonis misses and Stone counters with a solid body kick. Stone dives in and scores a takedown into Sabonis's guard. I was talking to Sabonis's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A short right hand to the side of the head by Stone. Stone turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Sabonis tries to improve position but can't. Sabonis is trying to control Stone's posture but Stone avoids it. Stone scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sabonis to see if he's OK. Stone is looking to take a break and control but Sabonis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stone is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Stone has control of an arm but Sabonis manages to advance to Stone's back!
