1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cooter Brown! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stamm swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stamm misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stamm fails with the takedown and Brown counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stamm won't be happy with that. Stamm is trying to control Brown's posture but Brown avoids it. Brown tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Brown is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stamm will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. It looks like Brown might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Brown trying to control the position but Stamm is working away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stamm is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! Stamm has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stamm is looking to reverse the position. Brown is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stamm has escaped the position, nice work there. Brown trying to control the position but Stamm is working away. Brown moves into full mount! Brown controlling the position easily from mount. Brown looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Stamm wants to hold on but Brown pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stamm is breathing heavily. Brown with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Stamm knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown tries to control but Stamm wriggling away. Brown is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Stamm is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Stamm flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Brown anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Stamm and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Brown slips an arm under Stamm chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Brown has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Brown is squeezing on Stamm like an anaconda would it's prey. Stamm fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OConnell lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Heads checks the leg kick. Heads throws a combination that misses and OConnell counters with a left and a right that stings Heads. OConnell scores with a jab to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Heads throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Heads takes a body punch but keeps moving. OConnell connects with a body shot. OConnell chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Heads looks winded! Heads throws a combination that misses and OConnell counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Heads takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Oooooh!!! OConnell has knocked Heads down with a huge combo! OConnell steps away and waves a wobbly Heads back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Eraser Heads has been cut. Heads checks a leg kick nicely. OConnell lands a big right hook! Heads looks hurt but is still standing! OConnell lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Heads falls down and OConnell dives in with a huge hammer fist! Heads's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and OConnell runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakai displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ott throws out the jab. Ott wants to clinch and Nakai counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ott won't be happy with that. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Nakai stands up and we're back to a striking position. Ott closes the distance looking to clinch and Nakai counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Nakai gets underhooks to prevent Ott's takedown attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakai working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ott. Ott trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ott trying to control the position from guard on top but Nakai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ott got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nakai has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ott has managed to get both his arms back between Nakai's legs - danger averted. Ott working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Nakai is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ott postures up in Nakai's guard and throws a big left but Nakai blocks it. Ott trying to control the position from guard on top but Nakai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ott throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakai is looking for a triangle but Ott pushes his legs off easily.
Ott postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ott might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nakai wants to sweep but no luck. Ott with a flurry of punches that miss. Ott drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nakai dives on top into guard. Ott can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nakai controls the pace. Nakai looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nakai darts in and clinches Ott up against the cage. Nakai taking a breather. Nakai manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ott in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ott throwing strikes from guard but Nakai blocks nicely. Ott drops back, looking for a kneebar! Nakai looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Nakai looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Nakai! Ott prevents Nakai from moving into mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nakai stays in close to Ott's body and controls the position. Ott wants to improve his position but instead Nakai has moved into half guard.
Nakai is just content to waste time from the top position. Ott takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ott keeping moving, preventing Nakai from controlling successfully. Ott utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ott is trying to keep Nakai in close.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kenji Nakai. Ott wants to clinch up but Nakai keeps it at a distance. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ott is staying active underneath Nakai, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Ott is fighting it off but Nakai persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ott's guard against the cage. Nakai must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakai decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ott, up you get! Ott misses the shot to the body. Ott darts in trying to clinch and Nakai counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Nakai passes the guard and advances to mount! Ott regains half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ott regains full guard. Nicely done. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nakai trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ott's guard. Nakai is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nakai slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
And that's the end of the fight! Kenji Nakai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Nakai winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Loxa misses with a few strikes there.
Locke lands a nice hook to Loxa's body. Loxa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Loxa throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Locke sees it coming and avoids it easily. Locke is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Locke lands with an uppercut that bounces Loxa off the cage and back into range. Loxa wants to clinch. Locke lands a big right hand that sends Loxa crashing to the mat! Locke stays standing though and waves Loxa back to his feet!
It looks like Big Loxa has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Locke fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Loxa square on the jaw! Damn, Loxa is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown lands with a slapping head kick. Brown moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Brown misses with a wild body shot. McDaniels avoids the body shot from Brown.

Brown loads up on a big right hand but McDaniels slips the punch. McDaniels takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Brown is looking to land body kicks. Brown tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McDaniels was well out of range. Poor timing from Brown. Brown throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Brown scores with a hook. Brown connects with a body shot that sends McDaniels's belly button to the back. McDaniels walks into a jab. Brown works the jab nicely. Jab, jab by Brown - just one landing. Brown is looking to chop away at McDaniels's legs. Brown misses with an uppercut. McDaniels has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brown finds it's way round the side to connect with McDaniels's head. McDaniels gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McDaniels keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully. McDaniels has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Tokyo Totally Gym + Sauna. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but McDaniels is retaining full guard. Brown won't allow McDaniels to get back to his feet. McDaniels has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Brown has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. McDaniels avoids the elbow strike from Brown, against the cage.

McDaniels is trying to push Brown away but Brown has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Brown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Brown scores with a takedown into McDaniels's guard. Brown pushes down on McDaniels's leg and manages to get into half guard. McDaniels is trying to stand back up but Brown is controlling him

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown cracks McDaniels with a big right hand but McDaniels just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

McDaniels walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Brown lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brown throws a leg kick and McDaniels counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Brown has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McDaniels can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. McDaniels tries to stand but Brown is controlling from the bottom. McDaniels must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Brown seems keen to control McDaniels's posture. Brown is trying to keep McDaniels in close.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. McDaniels takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Shazaam McDaniels has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown feints and then cracks McDaniels's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McDaniels down. McDaniels moves out of range of the strikes. Brown cracks McDaniels with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Brown throws a low kick, looking for McDaniels's leg but McDaniels calmly moves out of range. Brown comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. McDaniels moves out of range of the body kick from Brown.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brown gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and McDaniels counters with a nice double leg into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tsushima had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bate defends it easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bate is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
