The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kint keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kint moves out of range as Palhares strikes.
Pluto Palhares seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by Palhares.
Kint is looking to clinch but Palhares is avoiding it.
Palhares goes for a double leg but Kint avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kint continues to drive forward.
Palhares blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kint swings wildly with an uppercut but Palhares uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kint blocks a body shot from Palhares.
Kint lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Palhares tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Palhares throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kints head.
Kint misses with the head strike.
Kint blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kint lands a left hand that snaps the head of Palhares backwards.
Palhares works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Palhares misses with a hook to the ribs.
Palhares lands an uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Palhares creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kint blocking some punches.

Palhares has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kint clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kint defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Palhares's arms.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Palhares is trying to stick to Kint's back but Kint is turning into Palhares. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Palhares's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kint.
Kint content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Palhares has locked up a guillotine! Palhares's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Kint is holding on here and Palhares must be using up a lot of energy. Kint has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Palhares gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
