0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mateus Mettler! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ismael dives in and scores a takedown into Mettler's guard. Ismael might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mettler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ismael is controlling him. Mettler has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ismael is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mettler. Ismael controlling from side mount. Ismael working the head with strikes. Ismael controlling the position. Ismael seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mettler for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ismael works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Ismael wants to stand but Mettler is controlling his arm. Mettler is letting Ismael control him for a moment. Ismael in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ismael wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mettler, who protects the arm well. Ismael decides to stand back up. Horrible takedown by Mettler or perhaps it was just good defense by Ismael which made him look bad. Mettler tries to clinch and Ismael moves into the clinch. Ismael is trying to break the clinch but Mettler is controlling him. Ismael is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Mettler to keep the fight standing. Mettler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ismael keeps the fight on the outside. Ismael throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mettler was covering up waiting for the punch and Ismael finishes the takedown easily into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ismael controlling from the top position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ismael drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mettler manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ismael has Mettler in his guard. We've been informed that Mettler has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Ismael is adopting a defensive guard. Mettler stopping the sweep attempt from Ismael .
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ismael wants to stand and escape but Mettler is having none of it. Ismael lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Ismael is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Ismael drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mettler manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ismael has Mettler in his guard. Ismael is pulling down on Mettler's head. It's preventing any offense from Mettler, at least for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ismael wants to clinch up but Mettler keeps it at a distance. Mettler tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ismael swivels and escapes. Mettler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mettler tries to clinch but Ismael moves away and Ismael counters with a takedown into side control. Ismael tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Ismael remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Rick Ismael overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mettler tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Rick Ismael wasn't doing enough on the ground. Ismael keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Mettler gets caught napping as Ismael dives in and scores a takedown. Mettler manages to retain guard. Ismael controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Rick Ismael wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Ismael fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mettler manages to avoid it. Ismael is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mettler's half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ismael trying to mount his opponent but Mettler defends it. Ismael wants to stand up but Mettler has a hold of him and won't allow it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ismael controlling the action here. Ismael has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Ismael looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Ismael tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Rick Ismael just wasn't active enough. Ismael misses with a few strikes there.

Ismael closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mettler's guard. Mettler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ismael is controlling him. Ismael sitting in guard, not really doing much. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ismael tries to free his leg and advance position but Mettler is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Ismael dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Mettler closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ismael circles away. Mettler misses with a takedown attempt and Ismael counters by clinching up. Ismael is trying to pull guard but Mettler has him pressed against the ropes. Mettler wants a takedown but no success here.
Rick Ismael has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mateus Mettler. Ismael wants the takedown. Mettler is fighting it off but Ismael persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mettler's guard against the ropes. Ismael tries to stand but Mettler is controlling from the bottom. Ismael slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ismael lands a couple of digs. Ismael sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mettler's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ismael seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Ismael perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Ismael uses his free foot to push down on Mettler's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mettler. Ismael looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mettler keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ismael connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Ismael controlling from the full mount. Mettler wants to control but Ismael is having none of it. Ismael takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ismael 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Ismael scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Mettler?
Ismael is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mettler can do to turn this around? Ismael controlling the position easily from mount. Ismael is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ismael jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Mettler is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Mettler and Ismael has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Ismael working away. Ismael controls the position. Ismael grinds an elbow into Mettler's temple. Ismael wants to stand but Mettler is controlling his arm. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ismael decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mettler to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Rick Ismael showed his dominance in that final round. Well Ismael has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lavezzi lands a slapping body shot.
Lavezzi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Tucker changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lavezzi fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Tucker misses with a hook. Tucker fails to land the takedown. Lavezzi slaps away a takedown attempt from Tucker, before circling back to the center of the mat. Andre Lavezzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Morgan Tucker. Lavezzi lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Lavezzi tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Tucker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Left hook, right uppercut from Lavezzi. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lavezzi avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Lavezzi dips to his left and cracks Tucker with an uppercut! Tucker misses with a looping right. Lavezzi tries to bum rush Tucker with a series of wild strikes but Tucker uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A nice combination there by Lavezzi.

Tucker looking to pass the guard. Tucker is looking to advance position but Lavezzi has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Tucker working to try and regain half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tucker is looking to improve his position but Lavezzi isn't that keen on the idea. Lavezzi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tucker is looking to escape.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Andre Lavezzi. Lavezzi displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lavezzi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tucker circles away quickly and effectively. Lavezzi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lavezzi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tucker. Lavezzi throws a right hand that Tucker ducks under and follows up with a left that Tucker also avoids with ease. Tucker has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Lavezzi drives through and clinches with Tucker against the ropes.

Tucker is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Tucker wants to take the fight to the mat but Lavezzi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Tucker is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Lavezzi is defending well. Tucker drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lavezzi pulls his leg out and moves away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tucker is defended easily by Lavezzi. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tucker shoots for a double leg takedown but Lavezzi sprawls well. He's pushed Tucker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tucker shoots in for a takedown but Lavezzi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Tucker takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Lavezzi is looking to stand up but Tucker won't let him. Tucker is still in real trouble! Can Lavezzi finish him? Tucker is breathing heavily. Lavezzi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Tucker seems to have recovered his senses. Lavezzi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Tucker is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lavezzi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Helmers looks to throw the jab but Thiago is out of range. Thiago pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Helmers back to the ropes. Thiago follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Basil Helmers has been cut. Thiago digs a good body shot into Helmers's ribs. Helmers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thiago was well out of range. Poor timing from Helmers. No joy there for Thiago, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Helmers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thiago swivels and escapes. Thiago dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Helmers. That did some damage! Helmers avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A swing and a miss from Helmers. Helmers definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Thiago throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A punch combination from Thiago misses. Helmers misses with a wild body shot. A big right from Thiago misses. Thiago lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Thiago moves out of range of the strikes.

Helmers is rocked! A jab from Thiago does it's job there. Oh Helmers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A big left from Helmers misses. Thiago displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Helmers. Thiago sends Helmers crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Thiago is motioning to the referee to let Helmers up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thiago scores with a hook to the body. Helmers takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Thiago connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Thiago closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Helmers! Thiago dives in looking to finish! Helmers is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Dominick has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. De Almeida moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dominick fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
De Almeida slips under a jab from Dominick. A decent looking cross lands there for De Almeida. Dominick lands a head shot. De Almeida defending well as Dominick loads up on a big left hand. Dominick swings for the body but De Almeida moves out of range.
Dominick throws a lazy right hand but De Almeida sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Dominick dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Dominick uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before De Almeida has time to react. Dominick lands a jab to the nose. De Almeida keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dominick tests De Almeida's chin there with a solid looking shot. Dominick lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
De Almeida is rocked! Dominick misses the jab. Dominick has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dominick there as he acknowledges the shot.
Dominick is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dominick misses with an uppercut
and De Almeida counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dominick thinking. Dominick is still on wobbly legs! Can De Almeida finish him? Dominick looks winded! De Almeida measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Dominick! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ching throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ching is in Gracie's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gracie pulls Ching in close to his closed guard and prevents Ching from doing any damage or advancing position. Ching stopping the sweep attempt from Gracie. Ching might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ching knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Gracie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Gracie pushing down on Ching's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Carvalho. Takahashi takes one on the button. Carvalho works Takahashi's body with a nice hook. Carvalho's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Carvalho duly obliges. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Carvalho throws a series of strikes that have Takahashi backpedaling.
Carvalho connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Takahashi's hands. Takahashi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. A swing and a miss from Carvalho. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Carvalho, as that shot connected.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carvalho moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Takahashi misses the shot to the body. Carvalho misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Thao needs to keep his hands up - White I I I had a free shot at his head there. Thao gets cracked there but stands up to it.
