Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raven Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wiley Kilgore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kilgore's choice of entrance music: Road Runner. Wiley Kilgore struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Harris scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Wiley Kilgore has been cut. Harris gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A short right hand to the side of the head by Harris. Harris pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Harris lands with a nice body punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harris clinches with his opponent.
Harris has Kilgore pushed against the cage. Kilgore looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Harris escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kilgore tries to break the clinch but Harris is controlling the position. Kilgore drops down looking for an ankle pick but Harris pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Kilgore counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Harris definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Harris scores with a nice hook to the head. Kilgore is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Harris keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kilgore's efforts to push away. Harris escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kilgore walks into a jab. Harris lands a left and a right that sends Kilgore crashing to the canvas! Harris dives into mount looking to finish! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Harris get's back to his feet.

Kilgore is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Harris throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kilgore. Harris moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Harris throws a series of punches but Kilgore moves out of range. Harris thuds a left hand into Kilgore's body. Harris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kilgore had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Harris is looking to wear down Kilgore with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Kilgore tries to keep at a distance but Harris has taken the fight into the clinch. Harris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Harris bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kilgore's head backwards. Harris Rushes Kilgore and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Kilgore is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Harris Piles on the pressure and Kilgore crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Alex Rouge had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Alex Rouge has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Rouge lands a big head kick that sends Spong tumbling to the mat! Rouge takes a step backwards and waves Spong back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Spong is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rouge loads up on a big right hand but Spong slips the punch. Spong is still on wobbly legs! Can Rouge finish him? A head kick misses from Rouge. Rouge and Spong are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Rouge throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Spong into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Rouge knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Folayang uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Parolino. Parolino throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Parolino throws a hook to the side of Folayang's head but Folayang sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Folayang tests Parolino's chin there with a solid looking shot. Edward Folayang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parolino fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Folayang avoids it really well and circles away. Folayang definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Parolino drives through with a takedown into Folayang's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Parolino gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Parolino misses with a wild combination.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Parolino avoids the body shot from Folayang.
Folayang stuns Parolino with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Folayang lands a high kick!

Folayang uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Parolino has time to react. Parolino tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A looping hook to the body misses from Parolino. Folayang does a little dance to reset his feet. Folayang misses with a two punch combination.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Folayang, right into the meat.

Parolino lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Folayang circles away quickly and effectively. Parolino looks winded! Parolino closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Folayang avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Parolino. Parolino wants to control for a moment but Folayang uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parolino sitting and controlling from the half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Folayang blocking the ground and pound attempt from Parolino. Parolino is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Folayang doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Parolino.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Folayang is in trouble now - Parolino has advanced to mount! Parolino thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Folayang is squirming around, avoiding Parolino's attempts to control the action. Parolino controlling from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Pargrathian counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Pargrathian has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pargrathian slips a nice elbow through Williams's hands, connecting with Williams's forehead. Williams tries to kick Pargrathian off but Pargrathian keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Pargrathian throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Pargrathian working the head and body with strikes. Williams is looking to escape. Pargrathian landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Pargrathian is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Pargrathian seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Pargrathian not landing any meaningful shots this time. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Williams is trying to stand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hummel with a hook. Harris scores with a hook to the body. Hummel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Harris looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hummel is fending him off so far but Harris persists. Nope, Hummel circles away and we're back to standing. Hummel scores with a one two! Harris had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Hummel cracks Harris with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hummel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harris moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Harris misses with a double jab
letting Hummel counter with a right hand. Harris with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hummel to score with a decent uppercut. Hummel's coach down at Valhalla:NY GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hummel's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Hummel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Harris throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hummel was covering up waiting for the punch and Harris finishes the takedown easily into guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Hummel looking to control.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Deflatter! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chang looks to score with a jab to the body but Deflatter is just out of range. Chang slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Deflatter thows a left - swing and a miss! Nice shot by Chang.
It looks like Jimmy Deflatter has been cut. Deflatter looks to land a left hand but Chang moved out of range nicely. Deflatter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Deflatter walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Chang misses with an uppercut
and Deflatter counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Deflatter. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chang working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Deflatter. Chang is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Silverback MMA Academy (Elite + Sauna & 160VM) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Deflatter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Chang utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Deflatter won't allow Chang to get back to his feet. Deflatter should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Deflatter throws a strike but Chang rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Chang wants to stand but Deflatter is controlling his posture from full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Quin Chang just wasn't active enough. Deflatter misses with a hook. Deflatter has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Chang finds it's way round the side to connect with Deflatter's head. Chang lands with a cross. Sloppy strikes from Deflatter. Those never looked like landing. Chang cracks Deflatter with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Chang connects with a single shot there.
That has opened up Jimmy Deflatter's cut even more.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chang drops Deflatter with a huge uppercut! Deflatter drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Chang is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

DawTang shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. DawTang is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Walker has managed to free his arm - good work. DawTang is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Walker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DawTang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. DawTang is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Damn, that's gotta suck. DawTang moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Walker has worked his arm free - good work by Walker!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. DawTang has knee on belly and moves into mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
