Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raven Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wiley Kilgore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kilgore's choice of entrance music: Road Runner. Wiley Kilgore struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Rouge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chance Spong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Rouge had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Alex Rouge has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Deflatter!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chang looks to score with a jab to the body but Deflatter is just out of range.
Chang slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Deflatter thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nice shot by Chang.

It looks like Jimmy Deflatter has been cut.
Deflatter looks to land a left hand but Chang moved out of range nicely.
Deflatter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Deflatter walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Chang misses with an uppercut

and Deflatter counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Deflatter.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chang working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Deflatter.
Chang is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Silverback MMA Academy (Elite + Sauna & 160VM) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Deflatter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Chang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Chang utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Deflatter won't allow Chang to get back to his feet.
Deflatter should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Deflatter throws a strike but Chang rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Chang wants to stand but Deflatter is controlling his posture from full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Quin Chang just wasn't active enough.
Deflatter misses with a hook.
Deflatter has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Chang finds it's way round the side to connect with Deflatter's head.
Chang lands with a cross.
Sloppy strikes from Deflatter. Those never looked like landing.
Chang cracks Deflatter with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Chang connects with a single shot there.

That has opened up Jimmy Deflatter's cut even more.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chang drops Deflatter with a huge uppercut! Deflatter drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Chang is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taw DawTang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Case Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DawTang comes to the cage accompanied by Imperial March. Walker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by ˇMAYDAY! - Last One Standing (feat. Tech N9ne). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

DawTang shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

DawTang is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Walker has managed to free his arm - good work.

DawTang is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Walker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DawTang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

DawTang is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
DawTang wants to pass to mount but Walker is defending the position.

DawTang jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Walker is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Walker and DawTang has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Walker is looking for a sweep.

DawTang looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
DawTang trying to control the action but Walker is working from the bottom.

Walker pushes DawTang away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, DawTang gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Walker tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

DawTang moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Walker has worked his arm free - good work by Walker!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
DawTang has knee on belly and moves into mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Taw DawTang dominated that round.
