Worm comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Der Kaptain kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Worm scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Broussard with a poor takedown
and Worm counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Worm looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Broussard throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Broussard walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Broussard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Worm sprawls well. Worm wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Broussard gets slowly back to his feet.
Broussard tries for a takedown but Worm sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Broussard drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Worm steps in with a hook that catches Broussard right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Worm follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Broussard looks absolutely devastated.

Demarce looks to throw the jab but Von Trapp is out of range.

and Von Trapp counters with a nice double leg into side control. Demarce won't be happy with that.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Von Trapp looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Demarce really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Von Trapp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Von Trapp tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Von Trapp has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Von Trapp with shots to the head and body - Demarce looks very uncomfortable down there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Demarce is squirming around, avoiding Von Trapp's attempts to control the action.

Von Trapp has hold of Demarce's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Demarce manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
