The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith gets caught flat footed, as Sitas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sitas postures up in Smith's guard and throws a big left but Smith blocks it.
Smith has a closed guard, preventing Sitas from standing up.
Smith looking for a sweep. Not yet Smith, not yet.
Smith not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sitas advances position into side control!
Smith tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sitas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Smith's coaches at Real Fighter GYM have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
