The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kucera uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Thompson .

Thompson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kucera on his heels. He'll look to pass Kucera's guard now, I'm sure.

Thompson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kucera has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thompson has managed to get both his arms back between Kucera's legs - danger averted.

Thompson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thompson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rainwater shoots in and drives through. Adabisi sprawls well.
Adabisi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rainwater circles away quickly and effectively.
Rainwater takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Adabisi throws a nice looking combination but Rainwater bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Adabisi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rainwater stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Adabisi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Basics -LOD- in the buildup to the fight.
Rainwater with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Adabisi to score with a decent uppercut.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Simon Adabisi.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Adabisi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Drum has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Drum and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Berzins fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Drum has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
