7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Johny Rico! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Teuvo Teravainen! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rico shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Teravainen napping and manages to drive through into side control! Teravainen dodges the ground and pound from Rico. Rico tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Rico misses with the ground and pound. Rico is working Teravainen over with some ground and pound from side control. Rico staying calm. Teravainen wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Rico throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rico throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Rico is looking to take a break and control but Teravainen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Teravainen is looking for a sweep. Teravainen prevents Rico from improving position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Teravainen tries to escape but Rico is in control. Rico controlling the position from side mount. Rico throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. An elbow from Rico crashes against the mat.

Rico scoring with punches and elbows. Rico sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Teravainen is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Rico tries to score with some ground and pound. Teravainen controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Rico has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rico trying to control the action but Teravainen is working from the bottom. Rico fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Rico wants to lay and pray for a moment but Teravainen keeps working. Teravainen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rico. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rico lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Teravainen down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rico tries to advance to mount but can't. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Teravainen is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rico connects with a decent elbow. Rico tries to score with some ground and pound. Teravainen controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Rico throwing strikes but Teravainen manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Teravainen tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Rico is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johny Rico dominated that round. That's time! Rico's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rico takes a swing at Teravainen's ribcage but misses. Teravainen's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Teravainen's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Rico misses with a body shot.
Teravainen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rico fails to land the takedown. Horrible takedown by Rico or perhaps it was just good defense by Teravainen which made him look bad. Rico misses with an uppercut
and Teravainen counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Rico misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Teravainen.
Sloppy strikes from Teravainen. Those never looked like landing. Teravainen catches Rico with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Johny Rico has been cut. Rico misses with a hook to the body
and Rico takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Rico ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Teravainen moves away. Teravainen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rico. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Teravainen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rico.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rico is defended easily by Teravainen. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johny Rico. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rico swings widly with a right hand
and Teravainen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Rico fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Johny Rico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A shot to the body from Rico misses and Teravainen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rico is rocked! Rico misses with an uppercut. Teravainen saw that one coming. Teravainen lands with a good body shot. Rico shoots in but Teravainen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Teravainen lands a nice hook to Rico's body. Rico takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Teravainen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rico. Rico drops his hands momentarily and Teravainen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Oh Rico is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rico gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Teravainen counters with a big left hand that crumples Rico! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Teuvo Teravainen! Teuvo Teravainen spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Milpid throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bravo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Milpid is in Bravo's guard. Milpid is posturing up here but Bravo has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Milpid tries to roll out but it's too tight and Milpid has to tap! Slick submission there by Bravo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fadden throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Fadden connects with a leg kick. Berzins looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Fadden takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Berzins takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Fadden tries a low kick but Berzins avoids it. Fadden tries to clinch up. Fadden throws a hook but Berzins blocks it. Berzins waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fadden. Berzins ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Fadden swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Berzins. Berzins working some nice short punches in the clinch. Berzins lands a body punch in the clinch. Berzins taking a breather. Berzins seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Berzins lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fadden backwards. Berzins lands an uppercut. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A nice right hand lands inside from Berzins. Fadden is pushing Berzins up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Fadden tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Berzins avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dominic Berzins dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Berzins connects with a body shot that sends Fadden's belly button to the back. John Fadden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Berzins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fadden was well out of range. Poor timing from Berzins. Fadden fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Berzins manages to avoid it. Fadden tries to clinch up but Berzins circles away and keeps his distance. Fadden defending well as Berzins loads up on a big left hand. Berzins connects with a looping right hand.
Fadden connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Fadden keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Berzins checks a leg kick. Berzins misses with a hook. Fadden ducked under it nicely. Berzins darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Fadden looks up at the clock. Bad move! Berzins lands a right hand from hell, dropping Fadden. Berzins pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

An out of breath Dominic Berzins thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
