The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zombie lands a jab.
Zombie ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Zombie throws a jab when Kross was well out of range.
Kross throws a looping overhand right but Zombie ducks down to avoid it.

Kross shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Zombie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kross stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zombie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kross works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Zombie wants to get back to his feet.
Zombie is doing well to control the position and prevent Kross from advancing to side control.
Still in half guard, Kross seems content to control.

Kross throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Zombie has hold of Kross's hands but Kross slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Zombie is not content to let Kross control the position.

Kross seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zombie for as long as he can get away with.

Glenn has Trimbole pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Glenn pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Trimbole tumbling to the mat - Glenn dives into Trimbole's guard.
