8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlos Tenorio! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Tenorio misses. A nice leg kick lands there from Ponce De Leon. Ponce De Leon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Ponce De Leon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tenorio. That did some damage! Carlos Tenorio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ponce De Leon scoring well with a low kick there.
Tenorio throws a series of punches but Ponce De Leon avoids them all with ease. Tenorio misses with a combination
and Ponce De Leon counters with an inside leg kick. Tenorio stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Tico Ponce De Leon has been cut. Ponce De Leon avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Ponce De Leon lands a jab to Tenorio's midsection. A nice leg kick lands there from Ponce De Leon. Ponce De Leon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Ponce De Leon. Ponce De Leon throws a leg kick but Tenorio sees it coming and checks it nicely. Ponce De Leon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. This has been an exciting period of action! Ponce De Leon works Tenorio's body with a nice hook. Tenorio takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ponce De Leon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tenorio. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ponce De Leon, right into the meat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tenorio ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Excellent takedown into side control there by Tenorio. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Tenorio working away. Ponce De Leon is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tenorio off and has taken his back! Good control from Ponce De Leon. Ponce De Leon thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. What can Tenorio do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Ponce De Leon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Ponce De Leon thows a strike but Tenorio uses the opportunity to reverse the position! Great move by Tenorio as he ends up in Ponce De Leon 's guard! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tenorio trying to control but Ponce De Leon is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Tico Ponce De Leon just wasn't active enough. Tenorio pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tenorio will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ponce De Leon avoids the body shot from Tenorio.
Tenorio scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Tenorio throws a looping overhand right but Ponce De Leon ducks down to avoid it. Ponce De Leon moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Ponce De Leon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tenorio.

Tenorio is looking to take a break and control but Ponce De Leon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tenorio is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ponce De Leon regains full guard. Nicely done. Tenorio wants to control from the top but Ponce De Leon keeps moving. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tenorio prevents Ponce De Leon from getting back to his feet. Tenorio is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Tenorio trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Ponce De Leon manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Come on Tenorio, up you get! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tenorio throws a series of punches but Ponce De Leon moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tico Ponce De Leon will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tico Ponce De Leon's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Tenorio shoots in looking for a takedown but Ponce De Leon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tenorio's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Tenorio jabs at Ponce De Leon's body. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ponce De Leon checks a leg kick. Tenorio misses with a body shot.
Tenorio slips a jab from Ponce De Leon. Tenorio throws out a leg kick but Ponce De Leon moves out of range and Tenorio only half commits. Carlos Tenorio seems to be getting the better of the standup. Tenorio attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Tenorio has a takedown stuffed. Tenorio's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Tenorio looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Ponce De Leon moves into the clinch successfully.
Ponce De Leon working some nice short punches in the clinch. Ponce De Leon lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Tenorio backwards. Ponce De Leon has Tenorio pressed against the cage, preventing Tenorio from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Tenorio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tico Ponce De Leon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Tenorio. Ponce De Leon lands a glancing blow to the side of Tenorio's head. Tenorio misses with a looping right. Tenorio on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Tenorio thows a body shot but no joy. Ponce De Leon lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Tenorio shoots for a double leg takedown but Ponce De Leon sprawls well. He's pushed Tenorio's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tenorio throws a hook to the side of Ponce De Leon's head but Ponce De Leon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

This has been an exciting period of action! Ponce De Leon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tenorio has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Good leg kick by Ponce De Leon there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Ponce De Leon counters with a thumping low kick. Ponce De Leon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ponce De Leon wants it to stay on the feet. Tenorio is breathing heavily. Ponce De Leon avoids the body shot from Tenorio.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ing fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Ing lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Christ seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Ing scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Christ tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ing defends well and Christ ends up having to push Ing into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Christ tries for a takedown but Ing manages to get underhooks.
Christ changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ing fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Christ. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ing dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Christ looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Christ dives in and grabs Ing's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ing pushes down on Christ's head and hops out. A jab from Ing finds it's way through Christ's defenses. Christ shoots in but Ing avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ing lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Christ is rocked! Ing jabs Christ to the body, keeping him at a distance. Oh Christ is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Christ bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Ing comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Christ falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Christ was out before he hit the floor!

Cragen throws a right and a left that both miss. Cragen tries to clinch but Russel moves out of range. Cragen gets in close and instigates a clinch. Cragen lands a good knee to the midsection. Russel won't want to take too many of those. Russel blocks a punch to the side of the head.

We've been informed that Flodder has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. No luck for Morawski with that takedown attempt. Flodder throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Flodder swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
