Spirit swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Tupolev feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jardine lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Finley has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Finley and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
No joy there for Finley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jardine is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Finley.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref is looking closely - Gonzalez is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Gonzalez is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
