0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hector Hernandez! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Steve Erwin and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hernandez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gregorian sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Gregorian looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Hernandez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hernandez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Hernandez shoots in looking for a takedown. Gregorian tries to sprawl out of it but Hernandez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gregorian manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hernandez fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ifarel Gregorian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Hernandez. Gregorian buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Gregorian looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hernandez tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Gregorian dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hernandez. That did some damage! The fight stays on the outside here - Hernandez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Maruo as he connects with a hook. Maruo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Shamuli fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Maruo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Maruo misses with a two punch combination.
And Shamuli tries to counter it with a takedown but Maruo pushes his down on his head and steps out. Maruo cracks Shamuli with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Shamuli slips a jab and a cross from Maruo.
Shamuli's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Maruo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shamuli scrambles back to his feet. Maruo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kadek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boku tries to avoid it but Kadek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boku to the ground. Boku escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kadek throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kadek, right into the meat.
Adam Kadek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kadek tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Boku half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Kadek ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kadek feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kadek got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boku has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kadek has managed to get both his arms back between Boku's legs - danger averted. Kadek is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Boku is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Boku has escaped and now he's on top!

Boku drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boku jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kadek keeping full guard, as Boku tries to pass. Boku is pushing down on Kadek's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kadek is fighting to maintain full guard but Boku has managed to sneak the leg through. Kadek wants to improve his position but Boku is controlling well.

Kadek seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Boku does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. That was a close second round but I would say that Darren Manhove will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Hitogoroshi felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Am passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hitogoroshi! We've been hearing good reports from Am's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Hitogoroshi is trying to escape the mount.

Am looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hitogoroshi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Am drops an elbow to the side of Hitogoroshi's head. Am lands with a punch from half guard. Hitogoroshi is trying to stand up here but Am is controlling him well. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Am lands a nice short elbow. Am with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Hitogoroshi tries to get to full guard but Am has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Am dominated that round. That's time! Am's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Am shoots in and drives through. Hitogoroshi sprawls well. Am just misses with a punch to the body.

Am doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hitogoroshi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hitogoroshi scores with a hook to the body. Am takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Am takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Sam Am has been cut. Am tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Am is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hitogoroshi can do to turn this around? Am misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hitogoroshi.
Hitogoroshi throws a nice looking combination but Am bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Am misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hitogoroshi counters with a crisp right hand that drops Am! Hitogoroshi lets Am back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Am is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hitogoroshi thuds a left hand into Am's body. Oh Am is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hitogoroshi is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Am flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Am is out cold! Hitogoroshi holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cooter Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Edward Folayang! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Folayang feints and then cracks Brown's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brown down. The fighters circle momentarily. Brown darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Brown throws a sloppy head kick and Folayang moves out of range easily. Brown misses with a body shot.
Brown lands with a shot to the body. Brown smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Folayang takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Brown scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Folayang prevents Brown from improving position. Brown wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Folayang, who protects the arm well. Brown tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Brown controls the position from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Brown is trying to get an arm triangle but Folayang is defending well. Brown wants to control but Folayang is keeping him busy. Folayang is looking to regain half guard here but Brown keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brown controlling the position from side mount. Brown has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Folayang knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Brown tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brown has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Brown in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Folayang is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Viavao Kaho! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Graham swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kaho. Graham throws a series of punches but Kaho moves out of range. Kaho with the counter takedown but Graham avoids it easily. Kaho has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Graham wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Graham scores with a shot to the body.
A jab lands there for Graham. Graham listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Graham thuds his right hand into Kaho's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Graham throws a series of punches but Kaho avoids them all with ease. Graham defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kaho. Graham with a jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kaho tries to score a power double leg takedown but Graham sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kaho somewhat.

Graham tries to bum rush Kaho with a series of wild strikes but Kaho uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kaho is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. No luck for Kaho with that takedown attempt. A little feinted left hand from Graham on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Mason Graham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viavao Kaho. Graham throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been told by Graham's head coaches at Madz that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Graham lands a glancing blow to the side of Kaho's head. Graham misses with a looping left. Graham lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Graham bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kaho's head.
Kaho is rocked! Graham lands with a big right hook that stumbles Kaho - he's out on his feet here! Graham follows up with another monster hook that separates Kaho from consciousness! Kaho falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Graham stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dick works Emelianenko's body with a nice hook. A shot to the liver by Dick. Beautiful body shot. Emelianenko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dick definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Emelianenko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dick sprawls well. Dick wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Emelianenko gets slowly back to his feet. Emelianenko misses with a takedown attempt - Dick sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Dick tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Emelianenko manages to circle out of the way. Big Dick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Dick connects with a nice looking jab.

He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bishop is looking to cinch up a triangle. McCarty throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bishop's body to avoid the submission. Bishop has instead reached around McCarty's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bishop arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
