The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendez takes the fight into the clinch. Jordan with a knee to the head.

Mendez is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jordan can't fight it off and eventually Mendez manages to take the fight to the floor. Jordan looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mendez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mendez looks gassed! Jordan is pressing down on Mendez's left leg trying to get back to full guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sherinian tries for a takedown but Gonzales sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nice sprawl there from Gonzales as Sherinian shoots in. A thudding body kick lands there by Gonzales!
Gonzales thuds his shin into the meat of Sherinian's side. Gonzales looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Gonzales is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gonzales clobbers Sherinian with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Gonzales throws a quick inside leg kick. Sherinian takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Goodnight throws a strike aimed at the side of Armstrong's head but Armstrong avoids it well. You can see the frustration on Armstrong's face as Goodnight controls the position. Lexus Armstrong has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Armstrong is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
