The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hanson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Diaz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Diaz is looking for a sweep.
Diaz looks to move to half guard but instead Hanson has passed into mount! Damn!
Hanson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Diaz's face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hanson.
Diaz regains half guard.
Hanson wants to stand but Diaz has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Nurmagomedov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Glover sprawls well. Glover wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nurmagomedov gets slowly back to his feet.

Nurmagomedov seems to have locked his on tight now - Glover screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Nurmagomedov, as he picks up the win!
